After viewing clips of the debate between the Republican Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears and her Democrat rival, Abigail Spanberger, I am finding it extremely difficult to get to sleep. Abigail Spanberger would not answer the question concerning Jay Jones, the soul-dead individual who texted fantasies of not only killing Todd Gilbert but also killing Mr. Gilbert’s wife and children. <> Republican Lieutenant Governor Winsome Earle-Sears and the media, while debating about the texts, seem to be missing two extremely grave and important points.

First, Virginia and the nation have become so accustomed and tainted by violence that everyone is glossing over these texts. This man – Jay Jones – advocated the murder of children! Let that sink in! And not one individual from the Democrats has not only not called for Jay Jones to resign immediately, but by openly supporting Jay Jones, the Democrats are condoning the murder of children! The terribly sad and terrifying truth though is the absence outrage from religious leaders! No outrage from the religious congregations! No outrage from business leaders! No outrage from the sport’s “heroes” or from the multi-billion-dollar sports leagues!

Secondly, I see two things occurring if Jay Jones does not immediately withdraw. One, there will be a divide between the Democrat and Republican parties. By advocating for the murder of children, the Democrat party – its leadership and constituents – will be on the side of pure evil. Two, the Democrat party will confirm what is already apparent but not yet spoken aloud – they believe that violence and death is the only way to deal with anyone who disagrees with them. And I also believe that a shooting civil war will be closer in our Nation’s future.

I am not advocating violence against this evil. We need to identify those calling for violence and death. Those calling for violence and death need removal from all political leadership positions – voting them out, firing them, impeach them. Somehow, through lawful methods, this Nation need remove those calling for violence and death from the levers of power. We must find and use non-violent methods to remove this evil from our lives.

>> No outrage from [anyone]

there’s muted outrage, but there’s also an absence of shock that would otherwise drive the incensed outrage we’d expect

the MSM machinery has much to do with the suppression of such evil — it’s that machinery which must be dismantled

RE: ...Democrats are condoning the murder of children!...

The Dems are not only silent but most of them secretly wish they could express their opinion that Trump, his family including grandchildren, his cabinet and staff, the GOP leaders and members of the House and Senate, all the GOP governors and the rest of us here——should die so the left can experience the move to Marxist-Leninist America.

How many Fetterman types are there in 2025?
If they are around shouldn’t they revolt within the Dem Party instead of meekly stepping back? Mamdani is about to win and more of the Jones types are testing the limits of disgusting statements. Lots of people cheered Luigi and the killer of Charlie Kirk.

When you’re used to dismembering and chemically burning babies inside the mothers womb, leaving infants to die on abortion tables, and for throwing Covid patients into nursing homes of elderly....

..well, whats a few more kids and a wife?

ESPECIALLLY for the highest law enforcement officer in the state.

Human (or any) life has no value for evil entities.

You can’t fix this.
Democrats are like Evil,
it will be with us always.
Best we can do is make them
happy and impotent.
Legalize drugs and make
them as cheap as possible.
Laws of natural selection
will solve much of the problem.
I’d rather bury a Democrat than
discuss politics with it.

A previous thread TODAY had an explanation for WWII Japan’s ease of financing their war-machine.

It was to plant opium in fields of conquered China and addict its population.

Of course, China wouldn’t do this today.../

IMHO,

The Democrats chasing majorities by stitching together various minority groups, have become a total freak show.

It probably started more at a local level, communal politics, but then spread to the national stage, culminating with someone like Obama.

You're now seeing the pendulum swing back, at least a little. Thank-goodness.

Today the Democrats are the party representing: abortions on demand (including late term and tax paid for), illegal aliens (including criminals), total gun control, vaccine mandates, climate change, standing with Palestine, socialized health care, puberty blockers for children, gender affirmation for children, tax paid for gender reassignment surgery, hate speech and dis-information censorship (they get to decide what constitutes hate speech or disinformation), open borders, DEI, backing ANTIFA...

They are weird!

Their MO is the beat the drum on various issues and hope the single issue voter gets energized and behind their “weirdo” candidate. Most of the people voting for these candidates disagree with them in many issues. They simply vote based on one issue, examples: border and Latinos, abortion and feminists, gender crap and homos...

The majority is comprised of minorities. We all belong to some minority group of you look hard enough. The Democrats are simply the party which exploits this aspect to an extreme.

Trump, made out as extreme and polarizing is actually mainstream and moderate compared to them based on what the majority views and opinions are.

I don’t know. The Democrat Party is the Palestinians of America. Hamas-type individuals rule the party. Selective elimination has proven to tame them.

Interesting fact of history.
I’ve had Heroin addicts in my family,
I’ve worked with professional
people that were addicts.
So what you report is very possible.
But smart Heroin addicts don’t pay
much in taxes, as the drug is more important.
and the dumb ones just do what they
need to do to get the next dose.
Hard to supply a war machine on those
economics.
So I presume that you are saying the
Japanese ran/owned all the farms?
Pretty Western thinking.

If properly documented, Jones verbiage would likely preclude him from gaining ballot access under Indiana Code. But...he is not in Indiana.

The one thing that is becoming increasingly clear is that conservatives need to fund state wide and town and city wide regular daily News outlets that we control.

Ones that are available by independent websites with posts on fb and x

And with print in locations where it makes sense.

Until we control the flow of information and can provide our point of view... we will not be successful.

One, there will be a divide between the Democrat and Republican parties.

One, there already is. Two the Democrats can’t stop exposing the real self. Three, I think the Democrats do this to appeal to their “sick” voters!

After all how has this effected the candidate? Libs still support the sick SOB and of course the Republicans were never going to vote for him.

“One, there will be a divide between the Democrat and Republican parties.”

This would be most welcome across the country and at all levels. The uniparty has brought unfathomable destruction from dog catcher up to the White House.

I agree with your characterization of the Dem party, but from a slightly different perspective. Going back in history, around the time of FDR through JFK, Democrats had a reasoned belief in their center-left positions as to what the populace wanted.

They were strong on defense, supported unions, supportive Social Security, and held to traditional values. LBJ deviated when he instituted "Great Society" programs to cynically buy-off minorities (remember, Republicans prior to that had strong support among blacks), and in the process began the destruction of the black family while racking up growing budget deficits. Another price to be paid was the counter movement in the Southern states giving more strength to Republicans.

In the meantime, the Republican party has over the decades co-opted some of the original Democrat values: belief in a strong military, traditional family values including respect for religious freedom, and fiscal responsibility. Add to this putting a stop to illegal immigration, promotion of capitalism and personal freedom as a core governing social structure. Foreign policy need not be part of this because most people vote on domestic issues anyway, and both parties have traded positions back and forth over the years.

Now where does that leave the Democrats? The only way out of the corner they find themselves in is the negative - to take the position that is opposite whatever the Republican party supports. And believe it or not that works to some degree. There are those people (yes, even adults) who are always looking for a contradictory argument to take up, like perpetual teenagers who think they know more than their parents.

So we do now have a coalition of Democrats among the weird with often conflicting beliefs. You have summarized those succinctly, so I need not repeat them. But the point is they are playing a losing hand. Their minorities are either small or fragmenting. And worse, they are becoming violent and the public has no taste for that. We will see how this shakes out in the next few years, but I believe when it does, the Democrat party will no longer be what it is now or if it even exists by that name.

Who is Jay Jones?

Who is Todd Gilbert?

Why does Todd Gilbert want to murder Jay Jones and the Jones family?

Re: "In the meantime, the Republican Party has over the decades co-opted some of the original Democrat values: belief in a strong military, traditional family values including respect for religious freedom, and fiscal responsibility."

That is delusional.

When did the Republican Party NOT believe in a strong military, NOT believe in traditional family values and religious freedom, and NOT believe in fiscal responsibility?

Unless they get some Democrat version of a Ronald Reagan who re-defines that party, I see them as you, on a one way dead end road.

I think Trump did an excellent job in tapping into the counter movement.
