'WHAT WERE THEY LOOKING FOR?' Nunes raises questions over Mar-a-Lago raid (PART 1 of MY NOTES on Fox News 14 minute video)

The video  premiered Jul 27, 2025 and is 14 minutes in length. I posted my notes on the first half of the video (Part 1) below.

1. Nunes says Tulsi Gabbard explained that the President's Daily Briefing (PDB) contained the intel that no collusion was detected between Trump and Putin. That information was never given to Congress; but information given to Congress was in that 'disposed of PDB). President Trump's campaign was made aware of this information as was the House Intelligence Committee (w/Devin Nunes). Obama was briefed with the same information (i.e., 'nothing to see here'), but somehow somebody changed that information. Gabbard went public with this information 'a week ago' (video premier date Jul 27, 2025).

Gabbard was also to get out the House Intelligence Committee's 40-page report which had been  hidden from the public.That report was produced by then Chairman of the Intelligence Committee, Rick Crawford.

Nunes makes the point the conspiracy in action in 2016 is still going on; it never stopped. It has been going for nearly a decade and as they've never paid the price for their actions, they are continuing to do exactly the same things.

For awhile, people became numb to it.

He says the American people rejected it - they overwhelmingly elected President Trump.

Nunes says the President wants to clean up the FBI, cleanup the Department of Justice, and part of that is having accountability from the people who have been perpetuating this ongoing hoax.

Bartiromo said they basically got away with the hoax and had a duly elected President on defense for 4 years. In the summer of 2016, before the election, Brennan told the public, 'Hillary Clinton is up to no good.' She asks Nunes to walk through that timeline.

Nunes says Director Ratcliff brought this up; he found it at the end of his tenure as the head of DNI under President Trump.

[2:58 minute/sec mark in the video] What Brennan never did was tell Nunes (Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, 2016) what  he (Brennan) told Obama. Through all the investigations in '17 and '18' and '19 and '20,  Brennan never said he told Obama  and others about Clinton's Steel Dossier etc.

Bartiromo further eleborated - that Brenan never told The House Intelligence Committee that Clinton was coming out with a new story that Trump colluded with Russia.

Nunes add, '....that happened in August 0f 2016' and that Brennan had a lot to say, but what he didn't say was that he knew this was a Clinton hoax. When Ratcliff became the head of the DNI, he dug up that information and hand written notes where Brennan  Nunes says Brennan wrote it down and you'd think Brennan would remember given the importance of one of the candidates working with Russians to cook up this scheme .

Nunes says what they found out this week (video premier date Jul 27, 2025) is that the Russians also knew about the scheme.

Nunes says the only people who didn't know about the scheme were President Trump and the Republicans. They didn't know about a lot of this and now they're digging this up years later.

Bartromo notes from August to Thanks Giving, they were putting together a plan to  implement their plan . President Trump wins the election and the Steele Dossier something like an Obama Dossier. Obama decided to hide the real intelligence, that Hillary was working with the Russians to cook up a plot to frame Trump, and  instead push forward with FAKE intelligence, which was that Trump had something to do with Russian collusion.

Nunes supports her statements and notes those two important briefings which occur after the election in 2016 around Thanks Giving.

One was to Devin Nunes' House Intelligence Committee which was briefed by the FBI and other intelligence agencies that the elections experienced the usual foreign problems ("bad countries do bad things'), there was nothing out of the ordinary and certainly nothing that implicated Trump collusion with Russia.

The PDB which Gabbard released last week was almost identical to the brief provided to Nunes' Oversight Committee.

Nunes says, "something changes  on December 9."  A lot of people were in that meeting with President Obama. Many of them were moved higher up (promotions) within the Justice Department.

Nunes remarks that it's not forgotten that in this ongoing hoax,  from Russia collusion to the Ukraine (fake whistle blower) and the impeachment. Then you move to the 51 spies who lie about the Hunter Biden laptop. But probably the biggest thing that still needs to be researched and put before the American public is this, 'Why was there a raid at Mar A  Lago'?

What led to that raid? What led to the appointment of that Special Counsel? Why were they at Mar A Lago? What were they looking for? This was an unprecedented act in U.S. history where the Department of Justice raids a former President's home 

That raid on Mar A Lago wasn't that long ago. Whatever it was, they didn't find it. But that raid was to stop President Trump from being re-elected. That's all it was.

Nunes says there's a lot more to do with that and he's happy that the DOJ has the Strike Force. As Chairman of the President's Intelligence Board, Nunes says he's going to try to get out as much of this information, and get it declassified, as possible

Senate Oversight of the Department of Justice

The Senate Judiciary Committee's October 7, 2025, 9 AM hearing will focus on oversight of the Department of Justice and is scheduled to take place in Hart Senate Office Building Room 216.

While the official agenda confirms the topic and time, specific attendee details beyond committee members are not yet publicly listed. Typically, such oversight hearings include the Attorney General or other senior DOJ officials as witnesses. The committee is chaired by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), with Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) serving as Ranking Member. Members such as Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) and others from both parties are expected to participate.

The Senate Judiciary Committee Chair, currently Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), sets the itinerary and agenda for committee meetings and hearings. Sunday Talks – PIAB Chairman Devin Nunes Outlines Expectations for Expanded James Comey Charges

Former House Intelligence Committee Chairman, and current chair of the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board, Devin Nunes, appears on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the upcoming court appearance of former FBI Director James Comey.

Within the interview, Mr. Nunes outlines both how James Comey could be indicted for additional issues related to an ongoing conspiracy case, and also the reason why Comey will never be indicted for additional conspiracy charges.

The core of the disconnect, within the above paragraph, revolves around the central corrupt issue that James Comey conducted – the use of his office to conduct political surveillance.

In August 2016, the Obama administration, specifically the FBI, were concerned about the potential for discovery of their spying operation.  In August 2022, the same FBI conducted a raid on Mar-a-Lago to ensure President Trump did not possess evidence of their spying operation.  However, this motive must be avoided by those who are deciding what documentary trail they should be searching; so, they are not looking for it.

• Post April 2016, the Obama administration had a problem. Enter FBI operation “Crossfire Hurricane,” July 2016, in an effort to remove the political risk.
• October 2016, the FBI rushes a FISA application through the FISC, circumventing the missing ‘Woods File’, with the Chris Steele dossier as evidence.
• October 2016, NSA Director Rogers sends the first official notification of the FBI using the NSA database to the oversight body, the FISA Court.
• December 2016, worried about Trump now discovering the NSA database spying, the Obama administration wraps the Clinton smear into official policy, blaming the Russians and validating Crossfire Hurricane.
• May 2017, needing to extend the coverup of the FBI activity, special counsel Robert Mueller then takes over Crossfire Hurricane. All FBI evidence and personnel transfers to Mueller.
• April 2019, Robert Mueller operation wraps up, prior activity coverup shifts to Impeachment process.
• July 2019, John Durham kicks in extending DOJ/FBI control through 2020 election.
• Fall 2020, mail-in ballots triggered to facilitate 2020 election outcome.
• January 2021, FBI triggers Operation Arctic Frost, targeting Trump supporters and 2020 election researchers. FBI again using NSA database search queries to identify targeting.
• March 2021, FBI Arctic Frost results fed to J6 Committee and DHS. TSA trigger “Quiet Skies” targeting via results from Arctic Frost.

It’s one long continuum of coverup activity within Main Justice and the FBI, supported by all other various agencies who operate in support. What are they covering up? The 2012 through 2016 political spying operation within the Obama administration, as carried out by the same Main Justice and FBI operations.

President Obama, James Comey and John Brennan know the DC apparatus that supports the national security state will never allow the people in charge of their inquisition to reveal the database collection system that forms the foundation of the modern national security state.  That’s the reason for their collective arrogance and confidence.

James Comey exemplifies this as well. I believe it was General Flynn who was the whistleblower exposing him. Except, I think Flynn went to Pence, Pence told the intel sources, and then all testified aganist Flynn. Comey is charged with 'lying' but also 'misleading', charges for which he is to testify at Gralley's Senate Oversight Committe into the Department of Justice. So Comey was 'leading' but he was leading the evidence away from himself and making it 'lead' to someone innocent.

John Solomon emphasized 'misleading'  in his recent interview with Bartiromo. Thinking about it, mis-leading likely means Comey mis-lead people into prosecuting and convicting General Flynn. I think Comey converted the information Flynn gave Pence into charges against Flynn. They couldn't admit what they were prosesecuting Flynn for (spying on the Trump campaign) so they blew FARA charges out of proportion and convicted Flynn of lying to Pence (well Pence and Co all lied and said it was Flynn) Like Hillary, Comey, Pence and the whole corrupt crew  accuses others of what he is actually doing.

An early FBI whistleblower said he worked for Rod Rosenstein in Maryland (ROd was AG there). The Whistleblower said there was a group called 'the dirty tricks squad' and they framed people for crimes they didn't commit, destroyed careers, marriages and anythign they could get their  hands on. He said when they became angry with him, they pretty much erased his professional history, and they almost eliminated his military service completely by calling the different military branches and identifying his records as a fake id and fraud. They missed on - Coast Guard.

This explains why everyone around Trump was prosecuted/convicted or at least had their careers destroyed. Then the lackeys in the MSM sneer that Trump is surrounded by 'criminals.'

I don't believe Justice will give up holding Comey accountable for his crimes. The way forward for our country is holding people like Comey accountable, and Trump has emphasized that.

I do think the Deep State may use threats against the public to try to defeat prosecution, but it will ultimately fail. The WHite Hats will figure out a way to hold him accountable - it's going to be a bumpy ride. Another possibility is that he turned State's Witness, but I don't see him doing that. Remember there are two Oversight Committee meetings going on. Comer is investigating Epstein. Grassley is investigating the actions of the DOJ over the years. That latter set of meetings doesn't name those testifying/subpoenaed, and many of Comey's crimes fit in there. I did read someone saying they previously had no idea how depraved he was.

Oh, and I recall that the DOJ is behind the charges against Comey. The DOJ functions independently from Comer’s Committee. But I don’t know why Comer made that decision- his actions don’t prevent Comey from being held accountable.
