#NationalCoffeeDay
Ah, the perfect cup of java. According to an expert cupper (a professional coffee taster), there are four components of a perfect cup: aroma, body, acidity, and flavor.
From the moment the average coffee lover opens a fresh bag of coffee beans, the aroma beckons, percolating the senses. Even those who don't drink coffee tend to enjoy the fragrance roasted beans cast.
GROWING, ROASTING, AND BREWING
When determining the body of a coffee, the bean, the roast, and the brew are all factors. The bean affects the texture of the coffee, whether its silky, creamy, thick or thin on the tongue and throat. However, the darker the roast and how we brew it will alter the feel of a coffee's body, too. Grandpa's motor oil blend versus the coffee shop around the corners' silky smooth, well-practiced grind have entirely different bodies.
Where a coffee bean grows determines its acidity. The higher the elevation the coffee grows, the higher the quality and the acidity. These coffees are considered brighter, dryer, even sparkling by cuppers.
When it comes down to it, coffee lovers cherish the flavor as well as the caffeinated boost this roasted bean gives morning or night, black or with cream and sugar. Hot or cold it provides enjoyment even when decaffeinated!
COFFEE HISTORY
Many legendary accounts tell how coffee first came to be. However, the earliest credible evidence of either coffee drinking or the knowledge of the coffee tree appears in the middle of the 15th century in the Sufi monasteries around Mokha in Yemen. Here, monks first roasted coffee seeds and brewed coffee, much like we prepare them today. Yemeni traders brought coffee back to their homeland from Ethiopia and began to cultivate the seed.
In 1670, Baba Budan smuggled coffee seeds out of the Middle East by strapping seven seeds onto his chest. The first plants grown from these stowed away seeds were planted in Mysore. Coffee later spread to Italy and the rest of Europe, Indonesia, and the Americas.
While Brazil produces more coffee in the world than any other country, Colombia closely follows. Also, more than 50 countries around the world grow coffee, too. As a result, we choose from a bountiful selection of flavors for the indulgence of steamy cups of the black drink for connoisseurs to consume.

Q. What other beverages contain caffeine? A. Sodas, black, white, and green teas, chocolate beverages, and energy drinks contain caffeine.
Q. Is caffeine a natural substance? A. Yes, caffeine is a natural substance, but some products contain synthetic caffeine. Coffee is a natural source of caffeine. Italian Sweet Crème Coffee Mate rated the best.
Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Table------- the best of the bunch is Italian Sweet Crème creamer from Coffee Mate, a step above the rest of the flavors.......wouldn't go out of my way to snag any other flavors, apart from the Italian Sweet Cream.
That's because the flavor is so nicely balanced compared to the others in this ranking. It has a subtle saltiness to it that offers a slightly savory flavor profile. Of course, this stuff is still quite sweet, but that little bit of saltiness helps balance out that sweetness, creating a lovely mixture of flavors that tastes amazing with coffee (and on its own, if I'm being honest).
This flavor seemed a bit lighter and less creamy than the others, but that's a good thing, since the mouthfeel it creates isn't so mouth-coating and overwhelming.
There's no competition: Coffee Mate's Italian Sweet Crème is indisputably the best of the best.

Homemade Coffee Creamer
Makes waking up a lot easier and tastier. By Tasting Table Staff.
You can make coffee creamers yourself—and they're so much better. In our version, a vanilla bean and toasted hazelnuts are steeped in creamer for the perfect punch of flavor. Just remember: When you're bringing the creamer to a simmer, it's crucial to keep stirring so the sugar in the sweetened condensed milk can caramelize. Otherwise, the mixture will scald on the bottom.
Ing 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk 12-oz can evap/milk ½ cup peeled hazelnuts, toasted/rough-chp 1 vanilla bean scraped ¼ tsp k/salt
Directions--combine ing on med. Bring to simmer, stirring, then remove offheat; cool completely. Strain into airtight container; use immediately or fridge up to 2 weeks.

Boyd’s coffee a great way to start the day
Or if you just want a splash of vanilla extract:
Drop a dozen or so vanilla beans slit lengthwise into 1.75 liters vodka. A $30 investment. Come back in a few months and you have vanilla extract and saved $270 by not having to buy $5+ per ounce of McCormicks vanilla at the grocery store.
Can try another batch with the vanilla beans but less liquor of your choice. Then let the beans dry naturally and put them in sugar to have vanilla sugar.
Use recycled small condiment jars like hot sauce, soy sause, steak sauce, etc. Pour in the extract and tie on a red ribbon and give as Christmas presents to coworkers and neighbors.
Yup, equivalent to losing electricity:)
