Aldi has good stuff.
“It’s challenging to find info about where Choceur chocolate comes from”

A bit off topic but it’s It’s challenging to find info about where many Aldi products come from......I know, ever since I started noticing much of their frozen seafood originates in china of all places.
Many products just state “product of Aldi” or some such.....rarely will I buy those products.
Having said all that, we shop at Aldi often......just have to be careful.
Mr. GG2 eats that chocolate all the time.
It is real High Quality chocolate! Not just a ‘store brand’ wannabe.......................
Happened to be dining on half an MR bar as I scanned latest posts. It’s good not great, a little too sweet and cloying, but authentic Swiss-style chocolate. Ghirardelli 86% is where it’s at.
Yes, their chocolates are top-notch!
Shopped Aldi once. Never went back. Just not my kind of store (prefer Publix).
Also, Werther’s has gone downhill fast in the last few years (Covid?). Too much carnauba wax, less cream, sugar and butter.
Europe, especially Germany, has loved chocolate since before the 20th Century. Before 1900 they even had chocolate vending machines.

Some of their chocolate makers still exist.
I like everything about Aldi
That chocolate and chili combo is INCREDIBLE. You wouldn’t think so... until you tried it.
I like the special chocolates they have at Christmas time.
Both Aldi and Lidl have nice Holiday specialties.
I'll second that. It is delicious
When I was in Germany, it was obvious they made the best dark chocolate.
I have Aldi about 2 miles from my home. I get ALL my meats there now. They’re very good and cheaper than everyone else.
I melt the bars...add a tad of butter and pecans and put on parchment and keep in fridge.
Don’t know about their chocolate but their jarred tomato sauces come within 90% of Rao’s quality at half the price. I just dont buy or like my vegd wrapped in plastic containers.
