The gender gap between men and women has been a durable fact of life in American politics — and nowhere is this gap larger than among the youngest cohort of American adults, Gen Z.
But it’s not just politics driving the divide. The latest NBC News Decision Desk Poll powered by SurveyMonkey shows how the political gender gap persists alongside different social beliefs between young men and women.
Gender divides within adults ages 18 to 29 show up in questions ranging from how Americans feel about President Donald Trump to their views on what constitutes success. Young men and women also feel very different about mental health, cultural issues and questions about gender and the workplace.
Among Gen Z overall, 64% disapprove of Trump’s job performance versus 36% who approve. But young men are more evenly split (53% disapprove, 47% approve) than young women (74% disapprove, 26% approve). The 21-point difference in Trump’s approval rating is unchanged from April.

"Which of the following is important to your personal definition of success?"
This part of the poll discusses the priorities of men and women who voted for Trump and men and women who voted for Harris. There are large differences in how each group defines success.
"Gen Z men who voted for Trump rate having children as the most important thing in their personal definition of success. Gen Z women who voted for Harris ranked having children as the second-least important thing in their personal definition of success."
Charlie Kirk discusses this poll. Forward to 1:01:00.
The brainwashing of women is hideous to behold. They deliberately chose loneliness and isolation. So sick.
Similar things happened after Carter.
Americans started planning for the future.
Let’s hope they don’t forget this time
It’s terrifying that that silly tosspot even had a shot at the Oval Office.
Yes. My sister-in-law and her daughters (about 30 and 25) voted for Kamala. Sister-in-law only listens to Legacy Media and her college-aged daughter for advice. She asks for money, which my husband gives her. I am DONE with that
I think it’s hard to poll this cohort due to their awareness and fear of cancel culture. They believe one thing, but they’ll say something else to appear to conform.
There’s going to be a lot of lonely, bitter old cat ladies in 50 years.
It’s great that DJT humiliated her in the election, but she was a heartbeat away for a frightening amount of time.
On the other hand, it sounds like Gen Z young men are waking up and realizing the truth. Good for them.
The rotten, poisonous fruit of feminism.
So they're saying they prefer getting raped and murdered over mean tweets?
the ain’t wired right ... never were ... never will be ... they’ve ruined the country since they’ve been allowed to vote ...
It is scary that the brainwashed feminist zombies even thought of voting for her.
They have been indoctrinated and driven to disfunction by liberal teachers for their entire lives. The only real surprise is that young men have managed to somewhat survive the brainwashing and function at a higher level than their female peers. It could be because young white men have been the targets of liberal hatred during this period.
When a notable percentage of young women consider Only Fans to be a career path, who’s surprised?
They watched as Mama stuck it to Daddy in divorce court, so that’s their role model.
You can fix that. Start telling her the truth. They HATE that
“She asks for money, which my husband gives her.”
I am married. I don’t have money. WE have momey.
This is a broad generalization—but in my experience if the teacher stands up in front of the class and states that one plus one equals three....
Girls are more likely to carefully take notes to make sure they get the future test answer correct. They will believe what they wrote down is true.
Guys are more likely to conclude the teacher is a stupid clown (and give the stupid required answer on the test nonetheless).
If guys see this happen a few times they will conclude that the purpose of school is to make kids stupid.
