The Trump administration is escalating its immigration operations in Democratic cities in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling giving the government the ability to conduct immigration stops based on an individual’s ethnicity or whether they speak Spanish.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Monday morning announced “Operation Patriot 2.0” in Massachusetts and announced “Operation Midway Blitz” in Chicago roughly an hour after the Supreme Court decision came down.
The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 to lift a lower court’s ruling that barred racial profiling as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers roved Los Angeles.
The timing of the announcements appeared to be coincidental; President Trump has for weeks floated surging resources into Chicago to crack down on crime. But the high court’s ruling provides additional momentum for an administration that has repeatedly pushed the envelope with its deportation efforts.
The planned ICE raids build on action earlier this summer in Los Angeles that sparked a court battle over the agency’s enforcement policies, with a judge blocking officers from using race, language or even someone’s profession as a basis for targeting them.

Repeatedly push the envelope? All they are doing is enforcing immigration laws. Would you quit with the rhetoric Dems?
So resisting enforcing law that’s on the books is what the Democratic party platform has become. It’s all fun and games, high and mighty emotional justice until that knife slams into your neck too.
4’6” individuals of the noted description, whose first reaction when they see or encounter ICE is to “take to flight”, hardest hit.
Illegals who broke into our country need to go home - on their own or with ICE’s help. Thanks God Trump is stopping this evil...
“… in the wake of a Supreme Court ruling giving the government the ability to conduct immigration stops based on an individual’s ethnicity or whether they speak Spanish.”
Assuming my Googler isn’t broken, the ability to speak English is a requirement for citizenship (some exceptions exist). If you’re incapable of speaking English or don’t perceive it necessary- it would seem completely reasonable for your citizenship to be questioned.
If English hasn’t been codified as our official language it should be.
He’s doing his best to “walk the line”...now some of the rogue “judges” need to be taught a lesson when they ignore SCOTUS rulings.
Pattern Recognition
Trump has been showing great patience by adhering to these bozo judge rulings while the appeal process plays out. It’s working and winning.
In the end he wins and the left looks stupider and stupider swinging more of the public to his side. The added benefit is exposing the left wing of the deMS-13 party and causing the DNC to rip itself apart.
This is a biblical lesson for all. Doing the right thing is best way to proceed.

That was not the ruling. It certainly did not read as such but acknowledged that these along with other factors did give rise for ICE agents to detain and question a person to establish their status.
The article’s statement makes it seem as though ICE is roaming around and randomly signaling out non-white Spanish speaking people without any other cause whatsoever.
I couldn’t agree more...
