It sure seems like summer to me.

Was in mid-40s overnight by me.
I wonder what these “scientists” are using as a basis to determine when seasons ought to occur? Certainly is not the same as what the Creator uses.

"hotspots" of seasonal asynchrony around the world
Basically, cherry-picked locations where their predetermined conclusions are more true than the others.

So they’re not saying anything new. Different places have different weather, different climates. We all knew that. Now we can see it from space. Big deal.

This reveals “hotspots” of seasonal asynchrony around the world. We don’t have a hotspot here now in central KS, temperatures have been 20-25 degrees cooler than average for the last week, and NOAA is forecasting another 7-10 days of the same.

Been surf fishing this morning. Nice day. A couple of red drum. The run is starting like it has for the last 55 years of my life. No problems here.

Well then by all means, certain people or groups need to be given lots and lots of money and power so that this can be fixed.

Yesterday - August in Texas - didn’t break 90 in the metroplex.
The issue is that the earth’s tilt has shifted. And the earth is spinning faster.

On a typical summer's day in Monterey, CA, it might be 65 degrees. Drive half an hour east and you'll be in Salinas where it might be 75 degrees. Drive another east and you'll be in Fresno where it might be 95 degrees. Drive another hour slightly southeast and you'll be in Death Valley where it might be 120 degrees.
There's your climate change.

Can't speak for anywhere else in the country, it certainly seems like the seasons are "shifting" here in Northeast Illinois and it's felt like that for about ten years.
We just had our third winter in a row with well below average snowfall and this past winter with above normal temperatures.
It also feels like winter comes later, spring comes later and summer comes later. I also noticed the birds start swarming earlier to head south. They were swarming over two weeks ago in mid-August this year. Thought that was interesting.
Just observation, nothing scientific about it.
