A quarrel over a woman at a popular Hamptons bar turned bloody earlier this month when a man stabbed his friend in a fit of rage, according to sources and a report.
Two pals who work at Southampton restaurants were drinking after their shift at local watering hole Fellingham’s at around 1 a.m. on Aug. 18 when they began to argue over a woman that was part of their group, according to sources.
The pair started screaming at each other, fists flew, and then one man pulled out a knife and stabbed his friend several times in the stomach, according to the Southampton Village Police, East27 reported.
The victim was rushed via medevac helicopter to Stony Brook University and was last reported to be in stable condition, according to the outlet.
The suspect fled the scene and is still on the loose, according to authorities.

How can I find the perp if there's no... Oh, forget it. Is there a 'biologist hotline' where these things can be worked out?
“There are only two things more beautiful than a good gun—a Swiss watch or a woman from anywhere. You ever had a good Swiss watch?” (”Red River”)
“Loved without reason the laughter and flesh of a woman, enduring such torment to find her!” (Conrad Aiken)
Both may be true, but I don’t think I would ever knife someone because of a woman, except perhaps in her physical defense.
And the girl, what did she look like? ( sarc.).
Fighting over any woman is a waste of time, there is always another around the corner who can be your friend if you relax and just be a pleasant human being.
“Nothing you both ain’t already had.”
every day the Hamptons seem to be becoming pretty ghetto
“one man pulled out a knife and stabbed his friend several times in the stomach,”
With friends like that ...as the saying goes .
Bet she didn’t go home with either of them....
The longer they go without identifying the participants, the more likely they do not fit the demanded narrative.
Play I’m a good ole’ Rebel.
I hope the fight was over a real woman not some dude pretending to be a woman.
It was the Hamptons after all.
That's a simp, not a man.
I have an idea. Stop living like stupid, whipped animals. After that, whatever problems you have left you can blame on the system and the feminists.
“…if you relax and just be a pleasant human being.…”
Dammit! There’s always a catch.
They should have done a threeway.
L
Yep, there is always a catch, LOL.
The question always is whether one wants “her” or whether one wants “it.”
Very difficult to relax and be a pleasant human being at times.
It’s why we are only a few generations removed from wearing swords, although I do keep my Scottish basket hilt sharp in my closet. Just in case I run out of lead.
A great line, a short sexy haiku by the Japanese poet Ikkyu.
“Even in its scabbard, my sword still sees you.”
If a lady understands that, she is a winner.
There will be no bar fight.
When I was in high school back in the 60s two black girls got in a fight in the cafeteria over the ugliest black dude in class. One took a swipe with a pointed nail file, the other pulled a seam ripper out of her afro and laid it across the girls face. Both got suspended and I think he ended up with another girl. I would never, ever get in the middle of a fight between two girls. They’ll turn on you like rabid dogs.
Let’s see the woman they were fighting over, then I’ll comment.
Many thanks for introducing me to the poet and part-time Zen monk, Ikkyu Sojun (1394-1481). You made my morning, Candor7 :-) I found a short, but excellent tribute to this honorable rascal. Another poem:
The tree was barren of leaves but you brought a new spring.
Lots of arms, just like Kannon the Goddess; Reading further I was delighted to see Ikkyu was born and raised in Saga prefecture, a stone's throw from Sasebo city, my wife's hometown in western Kyushu. |

Haven’t been to Sasebo but have been to Ureshino several times which is close . A very goodfriend of mine Morita-san and his family live there. He is a drummer too and plays in a Beatles cover band . We became friends after I found and imported a Ludwig drum set just like Ringo’s for him .
