When I was pregnant, almost immediately I had a visceral negative reaction to certain soaps, shampoos, cleaning products, etc. My olfactory senses were off the charts. I avoided anything my nose didn’t like and couldn’t get anywhere near a salon for hair or nails.

Several later studies showed how these chemicals include things that disrupt the endocrine system of the unborn.

We are poisoning future generations.

Oftentimes, the body seems to know what will benefit it’s state of health, and what is more likely to ruin or drain away that state of wellness. The trick is paying attention to how our bodies react to it’s immediate environment.
You paid attention and made an effort to avoid negative influences.

This tells us to try to not use antibiotics, if possible, before birth.

It may be a less than ideal “preventative” step.

“This tells us to try to not use antibiotics, if possible, before birth.”

Antibiotics can really mess up our beneficial gut bacteria. On the other hand when my last tick bite developed a bulls eye rash, I faithfully took my doxycycline for a month, but then drank half a cup of a 12 item probiotic every day for two weeks.
