Whether you pronounce the delectable fruit (yes, it’s a fruit) as tomato or tomatto, Trump’s Mexican tariffs are forcing many dining establishments to either raise prices and risk losing customers, revamp menus or swallow the cost and bleed margin, said Sapana Grossi of Shah Grossi Law Firm, a business attorney specializing in the food and beverage industry.

Yes. 21st Century hydroponics ain't nothing like 1950s style hydroponics. Everything now is
computer controlled—humidity, when to open the windows, when to turn on artificial light, when
to shut it off. Water, everything is automated. It's easier than fixing a John Deere tractor! :^)

I remember visiting him in February, and it was like an instant trip to the tropics.
It felt like I was in another country.

The tariff is probably levied on the bulk wholesale price, so it’s probably closer to 10-12 cents a can.

My latest takeout is a 3 lb rotisserie chicken from Bjs for $4.99 every couple weeks. My membership was $20...so this pays off. There’s a lot of protein in that bird.

Oh, The Humanity!

Most of the foodstuffs imported from ‘Sunny Me-he-co’ are now run by DRUG CARTELS, so NO ONE in America should be supporting them in any way, shape or form!

And I’m pretty sure that is President Trump’s POINT in the first place for this tariff.

Florida grows a TON of tomatoes - so does CA and New Jersey fer Pete’s Sake! Buy American!

P.S. Tomatoes are a WEED. They are very easy to grow.

Yeah so? Commercial tomatoes are mostly garbage fodder. A burrito is now $15 thanks to Biden’s inflation policies. Heck, three piece fish and chips at the local pub are $25. We will be fine eating tomatoes from California or Florida.

What I don’t understand is how the stupid and ignorant American non-conservative people are supposed to be ignoring network news but they somehow follow the lies word for word that “the Big, Beautiful Bill means millions of people will lose Medicare, many will lose Social Security and all food and merchandise in stores is going to cost a lot more due to the chaos of Trump’s tariffs.”

Now THAT you can hear from every unwashed, embarrassingly dumb American.

But when the Johnny on the street segment of Jesse Watters asks what king did the colonists fight in the American Revolution one said “King Tut.”
Who won the Civil War? “The Germans.”
Why did we fight in World War II? “Russia?”

They also have a population that is half of Albuquerque. That makes it easier to grow enough.

Are tomatoes really that hard to grow?

A YouTube documentary asserts that the world’s largest tomato producer is The Netherlands.

I love my Foodi. I was never one to go for kitchen gadgets but I use the air fryer function at least a couple times a day.

We gave up on restaurants except for rare occasions due to affordability.

All the prices are a flat out greedy ripoff in my opinion. Even the fast food slop joint have ridicules prices.

Buying from the store is bad enough. Restaurants? Ferrrget it!

ahhh... so help me to figure out how to grow tomatoes from October-April.

Hydroponics, made with components designed and built overseas... Which will be significantly more expensive thank's to the coming 100% tariffs on foreign microchips (not just China).

Don't worry, though. American businesses will dutifully eat the costs and American consumers will happily pay more than the rest of the world.

Remember, when Democrats tell you to do with less or do without for Gaia, that's bad!

When MAGA tells you to do with less or do without for The Fatherland, that's good!

Restaurant? What’s that? I wasn’t raised to be lazy or helpless - I can make anything I can otherwise get at a restaurant - without the risk of food tampering, I might add.
