Despite his efforts to expose violations within the agency, the very institution he trusted to uphold justice turned on him. Rather than investigating the corruption, the Office of Special Counsel targeted him instead.

They demonized Senator McCarthy and anyone who worked with him. Instead of investigating the communists in government, Congress flipped the table and investigated him, smearing him, innuendo of homosexuality and the rest of it. That’s how they roll. Every “history” book will repeat verbatim the same horseshit they crafted 70 years ago as Gospel. Repeat a lie often enough, and it becomes “truth”, or at least re-repeated.

In September of 2024, Veckey, a 19-year veteran stationed in Ajo, Arizona, went on record to detail systemic failures and humanitarian abuses, including freezing detainees, lack of shelter, and dangerous overcrowding occuring at the southern border. He filed a formal Report of Government Wrongdoing with the Office of Special Counsel (OSC), outlining multiple instances of gross mismanagement.

Those laws have no teeth. There’s virtually no punishment like the discrimination laws and Veterans Preference laws.
The ONLY thing you get out of it is that the government OKs you to sue. Then you have to come up with tens-of-thousands of dollars to actually sue.
Those laws are all jokes which is why they get violated all of the time.
