The above is fairly depressing, which is not his normal mode. He's far more critical of the Israeli government, specifically the management of war in terms of a failure to enter the information war than I'm comfortable with. But the notion that Hamas will sacrifice any number of Gazan civilians to achieve its aims is daunting. I don't know how it should be overcome.

The United States military intervention would now, thanks to Hamas’ savagery of starving their people, be justified as a rescue operation and no one could truthfully deny it.

Tis more evil to stand aside doing nothing while intervening would have cost far less in the long run. With Europe, Canada and the entire Turd World already giving in to a future global Caliphate it’s left up to us by default.

I differ as the Ukraine is thoroughly corrupt former Soviet state at war with the slightly less corrupt former Soviet Union. It’s use to the world seems to be a convenient money-laundering operation for anyone wishing to hide illicit income.
Putin sees it’s play for NATO membership and subsequent protection as further incursion on Russia’s diminishing sphere of influence, which he feels must be maintained or expanded if possible. His neighbor China has no scruples in it’s efforts toward similar goals via different tactics (Belt and Road Initiatives, oceanic bullying, etc.). Add natural resources into the mix.
And Ukraine harbors a large tribe of anti-Semitic neo-Nazis that everyone seems okay with ignoring. So no - the U.S. should leave them be and stop flushing money and resources down that lost cause and help them negotiate a surrender at the most.
What does “winning” mean in this context?
If Hamas isn’t completely destroyed does that mean Hamas wins?
If Gaza isn’t completely levelled does that mean Hamas wins?
If Israel has to destroy everything and kill everything to win, what are the consequences of that?
Hamas is no different than any other terrorist organization or leftist government.
The hoi polloi are just tools for those power grabbers to use to advance themselves to provide food, services, and money for their ends. And they’re completely expendable.
Too bad the average muslim hasn’t figured that out yet.
Trump has given indication that the time of giving hamas a chance is past and action will be taken soon.
Hamas needs to be bulldozed along with all of Gaza.
That’s a good list of questions. Most of us would consider Gaza about 80% decimated, and Hamas about 50% killed. Gaza is more or less a garbage dump.
But the operative entity in Gaza is Hamas, whose raison d’etre is the destruction and elimination of Israel. If Hamas can be reconstituted, they have survived Israel’s onslaught. And I think that is the key element.
The moves by the Euros and Canada to grant Hamas statehood are laughably, yet tragically misguided. That isn’t what Hamas is fighting for. As long as Hamas can regroup and live to fight Israel another day, they have “prevailed”. I for one don’t know how you beat that. Indeed, there is some amount of reasonable thought that they have outlasted the Iranians, the Houthis, and Hezbolleh. Maybe they become the de facto heroes of the Islamists. They are certainly going to be the recipients of billions in new aid, from other Arab countries and from any number of dipstick liberal countries. Statehood or not, they are never going to be any sort of productive nation, they’ll be getting international aid from a dozen countries as long they continue to be the f**kups they are. And this war will resume in 5 or fewer years.
