I grow my own beef. 'Stew' is on pasture now until the snow flies. I have never shopped at a Whole Foods. I grow my own 'whole food.' Picked more Asparagus and the first Strawberries just this morning. :)

It ALL has that potential. Who eats raw Hamburger anymore? Just cook it through well and you are fine.

What time should we arrive? Should we bring dessert? Beer usually gets my foot in the door. Is beer a desert?

Let me guess, packages are labeled, “Product of Mexico”? You couldn't make this stuff up. The label states "product of Australia or Uruguay" and it packaged by NPC Processing, Inc. in Shelburne VT.
So... NPCs in Vermont are buying meat from overseas and insisting it's "organic".

It’s called “Whole Paycheck” for a reason.
Quality has gone down since Amazon took over.

Back in the '80s, the question was, "Where's the beef?"
We've now been reduced to, "Do you know where your beef's been?"

As A retired meat cutter who started in 1975 I will say this: These stupid chef shows like Gordon Ramsay's shows where customers in a restaurant order a burger Medium or rare are idiots. NEVER order a burger like that unless you know what is in the grinds. If you buy a beef roast and cut it into strips and squares and grind it yourself then maybe. You do not know what is being thrown into that grinder and the batch that you are eating.
