Amid endless debate over whether or not In-N-Out, Five Guys or Shake Shack puts up the best burger, we have a new — and yuge! — contender entering the crowded upscale burger market.
From Deseret News:
A Donald Trump impersonator, dozens of American flags and a burger with the word 'Trump' stamped into the bun are all things a customer might see on a visit to any of the four Trump Burger locations in Texas.
The restaurant chain, themed after President Donald Trump, was founded by a Lebanese immigrant named Roland Beainy, reported Fox Business. All of the current locations of Trump Burger are in Texas.
(As an aside, when I hear that a hardworking immigrant came to this great country of ours and started a successful presidential-themed burger restaurant, I get like:) The place most certainly looks like a shrine to our 45th/47th president, up to and including Trump-branded burger buns:

Trump Burger/Facebook You do gotta love that "Harris Burger." It checks out. Trump Burger/Facebook Unfortunately, Houston Chronicle restaurant critic Bao Ong didn't have great things to say about the fare:
Ong described the restaurant's burger as "consistent in its blandness." He also criticized the Philly cheesesteak for "stingy portions," and said that it 'seemed as if someone stir-fried a few pieces of beef and onions and threw it into some bread.' ...
There is also a First Lady Chicken Sandwich, which Ong said is dedicated to Melania Trump. He described it as 'better than the burger, with a nicely grilled, not-too-dry chicken breast draped with two slices of American cheese. It would be even better if the too-sweet teriyaki were left out.'
The restaurant, meanwhile, responded to that negative review:
The Houston Chronicle maintains a predominantly liberal stance, so we expected nothing less than a biased take on anything bearing the Trump name.
That's a Trump response if there ever was one!
Suddenly wish I still lived in Houston...
Dang they’re all around Houston, he needs to open one around the Republican enclave of Fort Worth.
He’ll never do it. It’s not hurting him financially and he certainly appreciates the support.
Open one in Denton It’s a day trio for me...
Probably so.
Horrid optics if he did.
Would backfire and for no purpose.
My daughter got her Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Denton - U of N.Texas.
My grandson does kart racing in denton in prep for his NSCAR dream.
Daughter & family live in Wichita Falls Tx....we go thru OK when visiting(we’ll be there end of june) and... my son is looking to retire in OK...
