I actually read a post on X where someone was criticizing the president, pointing out that this language was not appropriate.

Can you imagine being that sanctimonious? This man has the weight of the world on his shoulders, the lives and liveliehood of millions of people both home and abroad, enemies wishing him dead, slings and arrows for everything he says and does, and some puritanical numbskull feels the need to point out that he used a bad word when the pressure was immense. Some people just need to stick a sock in it.

Now everyone realizes the cease fire was NOT immediate. Israel had 24 hrs and Iran 12 . Time for them each to get in their last shots.

I thought it was comical that Iran announced via their media of their success in the war and then there were going to be a big celebration victory rally.

I have a feeling we’re not out of this without more bombing. I don’t believe we have boots on the ground or anymore involvement other than intercepting missiles and flying missions

As much as Trump says he does not want a regime change I believe he seriously would appreciate a regime change, but he is saying it is not the responsibility of Israel or America to institute that it - must come from the people.

If you open the front door, it feels like a sauna!
laying low, doing light house work.

Helped hubby get our new water heater down in the basement.
I only helped get it down a few steps, he took it the rest of the way down.
He’s not a big man, but he is STRONG!

It is a smaller heater, (only 30 gallons) but it’s enough for us for now.

I’m going to lay down for a while.

It’s hotter than the hubs of hell here, too!

Finally had the skies blacken and some rain rolled in.

I love the A/C, but I feel like I have to get outside every day. When you open the door, it’s like going into the blast furnaces in the steel mills. Even though my decks are under shade trees, if there’s no breeze, it’s unbearable!

I sure do get caught up on everything when I’m stuck inside! That’s one benefit.
