Best to take it easy, Jem. I hate feeling dizzy.
Being dizzy is no fun. I had vertigo once when I had a cold and we went up to the cabin over 7000 feet. It was miserable. I hope yours goes away soon.
Oh Jem....
I’m so sorry!
It’s hard to be social when you feel crummy!
You just take it easy, ok?
Would you rather not be posted to tonight?
((((((((((((((Jemian))))))))))))))))))
I have never seen them be aggressive.
(Now watch-some freakin’ bee is gonna sting the HELL
out of me tomorrow, just cause I said that!)
Maybe you were near their hive and thought you might
hurt their queen?
I have been sort of thinking about getting one of those ice makers. My ice maker in my fridge makes ice still but the mechanism that dispenses it broke and a replacement would cost a fortune. So now I have to get up on my step stool and scoop some ice out. I am afraid one of these days I will fall off the step stool. It is only about 12 inches high but still I can see me falling and breaking a bone. But if I land on my butt I will be ok. lol
I got this one on sale from Amazon. They all pretty much have 4 1/2 stars and all seem to work roughly the same. I ran it through and it seems to work fine. You can’t leave the ice in them. You have to use it or bag it. I don’t mind a small bag of ice in the freezer - those big ones you get at the store take up far too much room!
” well all except that gal in Maine - she can’t🤣)”
Dat’s right!
Impossible!
It amazes me that I could mis-read a line in a post TWICE
before I got it through my head, that you did NOT write
“Now that I have given my big beautiful “BACK” side!”
So, I’m like “now that you given your big beautiful back side WHAT?”
*evil grin*
P.S. Dolly, you are right-I am hopeless!
I had the weirdest thing happen to me a month or so ago.
Every now and then when I would lie down in my bed, the room would start jumping up and down. Not dizzy, and spinning, but really moving up and down fast and it took a minute to settle down.
Then, one day I was reaching for something in a lower cupboard, and had my head bent sideways to see in, and bam! The room started jumping and I went down to the floor like a ton of bricks. I didn’t even remember falling, I just lost all control and went down. Thankfully I didn’t bash my head. Natalie and Matt had to come over and help me up after I sat for 10 minutes to get my bearings.
So, I did some digging to find out what the heck happened. Well, it seems that if you use one of those little pounding machines on your back, especially in the neck area, it’s possible to loosen a bit of dry material inside your ear and a little piece can find its way into the tube in your ear. If this happens, it throws you completely off - instant vertigo, but temporary (thankfully).
It’s called BPPV. When I had the room jumping experiences, it was when Audrey would give me a massage with that machine, and that one day I asked her to do my neck (it was sore from holding my head a certain way, knitting) and she did it for a long time. That’s what did it lol. It’s loosened calcium crystals moving to the ear tube.
Needles to say, no more neck pounding for me!
Mine was only around $90. And all it does is churn out ice. I wonder if I filled the bin with orange juice and then used champagne. You try it!
Wow, that’s scary. I’m glad you figured out what it is. It’s amazing how well we do with how many things can go wrong with our bodies.
Go ahead and post. Just don’t be insulted if I don’t answer.
I am blaming my dizziness on my anemia.
It was very scary.
Yup, I often think of the scripture that says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. I’m feeling more of the fearfully part lately lol.
Since Christmas we’ve been pet sitting a cat. She will come over to us and butt under our hands to pet her. But, then, all of a sudden, NIP! That happened to me twice and to hubs, just once. She also doesn’t get petted much.
Do you know how Docs cure benign vertigo?
They put you on a tilt table, and stops it at the point that
makes you dizzy, and then they LEAVE you like that until
your dizziness finally stops.
I let a Doc do that to me once...ONCE!!
I was so mad, I told him all about his ancestry!
“You son of a .........
I invited him to perform an unnatural sex act upon himself.
You take that tilt tables and *&^%$$# it!
“Go play in the traffic!”
You must LOVE ducks, ‘cause you’re a QUACK!”
That was while I was getting dressed-the receptionist was hiding under her desk and waving a white flag...
You get the idea.....
*evil grin*
Does she bite to hurt, or is it kind of a “love nip?”
The vet told me that they feel happy and kitten-ish when they do that.
Teega used to nip like that when he was little.
I’ve heard that when people like to eat ice it’s because of an iron deficiency.
We better stop fightin 'before Dolly catches us!
Me "You started it CB!
CB "I did not!"
Me:"You did too!"
CB "Did not!"
