“believe we are all smart enough to use the right bathroom, not drink turpentine or to go to a correct thread”

I’m limited on how long I can look at screens without my eyes hurting. So having to carefully read the thread title because they look the same ijust takes more time away from posting time.

Just FYI, if I’m not posting much. I’m limited anyway so whatever..

I think that considering the other thread uses it, it would have been better to go with something else if it needed to be changed.

I don’t remember anything being asked. I tried to check in with the thread regularly while Natalie was so sick, but just was not in the frame of mind to post. Just getting back to normal these past few weeks. I guess I missed the request for opinions.

I like the Trump Family Train, but you’re the boss.

Lol what’s an undocumented nap, Ms.B.?

I had a nice nap this afternoon as well. Did all of my watering outside and inside. Flowers are doing great this year. Big, colorful pots and they’re growing like crazy. Audrey planted a large pot for me by the back door, red petunias and tons of bright purple lobelia. It sounds awful, but boy it looks stunning!

Roses are in bloom as well. So nice.

Oh! I bought an ice-maker and it arrived today. My freezer has no room for ice-cube trays, so this compact little machine fits on the counter beside the fridge. It makes cute bullet shaped cubes (I guess they’re not cubes lol) in 5 minutes!

Oh, other news from this end......

Audrey got a cute conyer (like a small parrot) because her budgies were kind of vicious. What a cute, colorful little bird. Jumps up on your arm and goes up to kiss your ears, so friendly and happy.

Audrey loves birds, so Natalie told her a couple of times to NOT take that bird to bed with her because she could roll onto it and kill it.

What do you think she did? One week later, poor bird was gone. $600 for a bird for one week. She was broken hearted and said she’s learned her lesson. She’s a terrible girl for doing what she wants - sometimes she just doesn’t listen. Well, she certainly learned the hard way this time.

LOL
Undocumented nap =unplanned!

Keeping her fat does her no favors, Cotton.
I know how tenderhearted you are CB, but you
could be killing her with kindness, too.

Teega really is NOT fat. He’s just plain LAZY!
How lazy you may ask?
SO lazy, that I had to buy mouse traps this spring!

WE could hear something “scritching” in the kitchen,
and he just slept through the whole thing!
He caught one here and there, walked around the house
growling like a mighty jaguar-and then LET THEM GO!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When they are well fed, they do not have the urge to hunt
because they are full, and not hunting to survive..
I cut back on Teegas food, still waiting to see
if that pays off-
as soon as I wake him up!

Just a quick, drive-by, generic greetings to everyone.

I’m just not feeling well. I’m quite dizzy so I’m just loafing around and not doing nothing.

“Lol what’s an undocumented nap, Ms.B.?”

Well, maybe I should say it was supposed to be a
“sifting through some paper work session” and turned out to be something else (undocumented nap!)

Oh, your flowers sound so lovely!
My step-Granpa used to grow all kinds of different
roses, some just a delicate blush pink, and others an
almost blood red, and all were very fragrant.
I got over my fear of bumble bees at a very young age.
I used to laugh at them when they became all yellow with pollen.
Big fuzzy yellow bees (and some pink(ish), too!

Hornets however, are another story!
more on that, later!
Gotta go throw a few chefs salads together!
Back in a few!
BORK BORK BORK!
*evil grin*

You don’t need to go through that much trouble, maybe just send a link once a week. And then that’ll give me the motivation to check in. If I haven’t already.

Radish, love that name!

My wanderer must’ve gotten scared of something, he has been sticking close to home. I haven’t had to go off in the middle of the night and go find him nor do I stay up watching the tracking to see where he is. He usually comes home around dark And if he doesn’t come home, he’s usually sitting out by the pool. I don’t know what happened and I don’t wanna know, but I’m glad he’s OK and even more glad he sticks by the house. Thanks for asking!

Oh, I know, she’s gonna lose weight. I’m giving her measured food right now, I’ll weigh her after a week and see if she’s lost anything. If not, I’ll reduce the amount of food. I’m trying to give her more attention, more playtime, more toys, to distract her. So she looks for love in different places besides the kitchen.

Cats! I’m still missing my Luvie - last fall. I buried her in a degradable box and she was wrapped in a silk scarf of mine. November . Over her body I transplanted a hydrangea that was given to me two years ago when my grandson was killed.

Jeff’s cat (sorta mine too but she loves Jeff) is a geriatric Miss Kitty. I’m out on back deck now with her(so I can get a signal) fireflies are fun as we’re getting last light

In addition to fireflies another visitor-mosquitos . So I’ll be going in very soon my sprays, citronella etc on front deck

Night all♥️

I bought an ice maker last week for me. I use it in my bedroom and don't have to keep running up and down stairs for ice as I keep a glass handy almost all the time. A fridgidaire. And it does take about 5 minutes for it to work. Then, all the time, ice!

If we should ever get together he will have to come my way because I don’t drive but a couple blocks away to Walmart. lol.

I sent you a mail.

“Big fuzzy yellow bees.....” “Hornets however, are another story!”

I am scared to death of Bumble Bees. One literally attacked me. I was no where near it and it came charging and stung me.

Hornets, we call them Yellow Jackets. I hate them also. I had planted what is called Blue Arrow Junipers behind my pond. One day I needed to get back there for something and I had a swam of them attack my face not knowing they were there. Looked real cute for a few days.

Ouch!

Last summer I didn’t have my glasses on and a piece of something from the tree blew onto my shirt. I picked it up to remove it and it was a yellow jacket. Yowser! Did that ever hurt! The sting lasted for about 5 minutes. We have hornets as well - they’re a dark brown and the thing about hornets is that they don’t die after a sting. They keep on stinging.

I remember my poor Mike when he was about 5 years old he put on his socks and started screaming and crying. A hornet was inside his sock (one disadvantage of using the clothesline) and it kept on stinging him over and over until I could pull the sock off. Poor kid.
