I can’t imagine you had never heard of bisquets and gravy until you moved to NC.
I live about as far North West as one can in the US and I have had bisquets and gravy all my life. That was a common Great Depression meal and also during WWII. I love sausage gravy, but I cheat and buy it canned.
I know exactly how you feel Jem. I tell doctors what I am feeling and it goes nowhere.
I have delt with extreme leg aches since I was 5yrs. old. They just jot it in the chart “leg pains” go get an ex-ray of the knees. They never do find the cause or how to treat it.
I have just had to learn to deal with it but some nights I cry out because they hurt so bad. I used to have my husband pull on them as hard as he could to releive the pain for a while. Kind of like traction.
