I still don’t have my days and nights straightened out. Ugh.
I decided that I would unclog the cold water intake hose of my washing machine. While there is no story to tell involving water spraying everywhere or near-death experiences with electricity, I’ll just say the blockage is not within the hose. The problem is in the machine.
So, I have left it for now. I’ve written my hubs as he is very handy around the house. However, we do have options. My nephew has a washer here just sitting around doing nothing. We can put the old one in storage and use the neph’s. I could buy a new washing machine (not going to happen with the neph’s available), or the hubs can tell me how to fix it

I remember that movie and recall it being quite good. That was eons ago.
Whatever you do get new hoses for the wash machine. A long time ago my nephews hose to the wash machine exploded while they were on vacation. Flooded the whole house.
Good advice. It is an easy replacement.
We have decided. It turns out this particular machine is about 30 years old, or maybe even 40. My parents bought it. So, the nephew wants to sell it for scrap. We’ll install his until he moves out, THEN, we’ll bring ours which has been in storage in the basement for 20 years or so up from the basement.
Good grief, my family is silly. What happened was, parents had original, newly dead, machine installed. Then, when Mom died, Dad moved to his mom’s house when she died. He left his machines. Meanwhile, we went on the mission field, but knew we needed the machines when we returned and so they went into storage. Nephew lost the lease where he was living, but he had his own machines. So, when he moved into our house, he brought his own machines and they’ve been sitting around ever since. I reckon there may be a few more sets of machines sitting around somewhere, too. We don’t throw stuff away. Like living in a daddgum museum.
Other people get ear worms of “It’s a Small World.” My current ear worm is the “1812 Overture.”
Well, I pray that there big protest will end in a huge failure!

So, Natalie tells me yesterday that the rosemary she planted in my little garden is actually lavender. Apparently the small plants look similar and the nursery sold her lavender by mistake.
So last night, little Audrey told me about it as well.
Audrey: Nanna, you have lavender in your garden instead of rosemary. The store got them mixed up.
Nanna: Oh, that’s not good. So I have lavender that thinks it’s rosemary?
Audrey: Yup. I guess you’ve got trans rosemary.
That little muffin makes me laugh.
