Not familiar with him, but looking at the videos, he was a wild one, throwing guys (or himself) out of the ring, onto floors, metal box springs or drywalls. Boy, couldn’t he look like an evil villain when he wanted to? Scowling, with deep vertical lines on his forehead.
Seems that he had gymnastic training along with wrestling.
No indication of how he died, and no expressions of people being surprised. Maybe it was a longtime, widely known ailment, i.e. heart disease or cancer.

Well, damn. Good travels, you homicidal, suicidal, genocidal, death-defying maniac. Thank you for all the entertainment you gave, thank you for your sense of humor, thank you for treating the mutants with love and respect. You’ll be missed.

One of the legends of hardcore wrestling, billed as “The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death–Defying Maniac.” This guy was amazing to watch.

Pro wrestlers have much shorter life expectancies than the general population.

Terry 'Sabu' Brunk made many interview videos that are on YouTube that are extremely frank and informative. He was a nephew of the original Sheik who worked the Detroit region for decades, famous for vicious shenanigans - but not the crazy acrobatics and near-death stunts Brunk did. The true wonder is that his body held out to 60 years old.
He, Rob Van Dam and the Sandman were the core that made Paul Heyman's E.C.W. a nationwide phenomenon. Rest well, great entertainer.
