A Florida bus driver fatally shot two passengers during an early-hours ride — even though drivers are banned from being armed, authorities said.
The unidentified Metrobus driver opened fire when a fight broke out about someone bringing a bicycle on the bust just before 3 a.m. Sunday in Miami Gardens, sources told the Miami Herald.
It was not immediately clear if the shot passengers — neither of whom have been publicly identified — were both involved in the fight, the paper said.
Both were rushed to a nearby hospital but could not be saved.
“I was just coming from the store. I heard six shots,” a local identifying himself as Wave God told WSVN.

Ralph Kranden sure has changed.
Final score 2-0
The busses run by the local transit system have bike racks located on the front of the bus.
A friend and I were outside the Dade County courthouse, and a couple walked up and asked us something.... We were clueless. I asked my friend if he recognized the language. He thought it was Portuguese. On a lark, we were going to visit a friend who had been arrested, but when we got to the door for waiting visitors, we looked through the glass and said “Oh, hell no!”
Yeah a lot of Miami is real 3rd world.....on the way to Key West once we got off the turn pike outside of Miami for a nature break and swung into a McDs.....the place was packed and the noise in there was at least 100 DBs and all in Spanish.
My wife was in complete disbelief and told me in no uncertain terms that I was to get her the hell out of there ASAP. LOL!
"Dude! Like, this wave was way tall! Like, a building! You know! Whacked out!"
Yeah. it was sarchasm and irony.
I only capitalized god as a proper noun, would you not capitalize the name “Godwin”?
One has to be EXTREMELY desperate to have a job if driving a bus at 3am in Miami is the opportunity you pursue. Thankfully, he was a good shot.
I read the title as
Miami bus driver fatally shoots two passengers during overnight FLIGHT
which was why I clicked in.
I thought what now, a passenger (Spirit Air perchance?) not only got a gun on board, he/she really must have needed the extra seats to catch some shut-eye.
Disappointed!
To the moon, Alice!
Honeymooners (2005)
BTW, you misspelled "sarcasm."
I am a pudgy old guy that briefly drove a city bus. My buddy is a skinny guy that had worked for the city water municipality. Guess who was Ralph and who was Norton?
Sarchasm is the gap - chasm - between sarcasm and its intended recipient...
Normally non-folding bikes go on the rack. (Some have them on the back of the bus as well). Folding bikes are normally allowed inside if they're out of the way of other riders.
Apparently this one wasn’t...
MOST METRO BUSES NOW HAVE RACKS ON THE FRONT OF THE BUS FOR BICYCLES. THEY ARE NOT TO BE INSIDE THE BUS.

A wave god is term referred to somebody who has the highest levels of waviness to them originally coined in New York. The OG Wave God is none other than NY native; Max B, the originator of the term “wavy”. Max B and French Montana both self-claimed themselves as “Wave Gods” in a joint released mixtape in 2016. Flow 187, another NY native also refers to himself as a Wave God. The reference of Wave God has also been taken internationally, by UK-based rapper, Cooli Carlito with his debut mixtape titled Wave God.
French Montana: “They hated on the wave, now they ride the wave” Max B: “I need to remind these n*ggas who the real Wave God is” Flow 187: “C’mon Max, you know I deserve the Wave God title too homie” Cooli Carlito: “Fam, allow all this talk bruv, we can all be Wave Gods.”
No story of post-midnight violence ever begins with “Me and Ja’quanda’racious were at a diner enjoying a salad....”
