Supreme Court upholds rules requiring background checks for ‘ghost guns’

The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld Biden-era federal regulations on “ghost guns,” mail-order kits that allow people to build untraceable weapons at home – handing gun control groups a rare win at the conservative high court. Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote the opinion for a 7-2 majority that included both liberal and conservative justices in one of the most closely watched Supreme Court cases of the year. “Perhaps a half hour of work is required before anyone can fire a shot,” Gorsuch wrote. “But even as sold, the kit comes with all necessary components, and its intended function as instrument of combat is obvious. Really, the kit’s name says it all: ‘Buy Build Shoot.’

...flat head nail 6d or 8d
2 wood screws...

Background check for nails at Home Depot.

Oh, look at that ‘screws’

Democrats snhould get hot against that. They don’t want anything limiting their screws.

So, set up a timer and video.

Start on your %80.

Stop at 30 minutes. What do you have? Probably just some sweeping your bench, finding some tools, sharpening a couple if bits, looking for specs on the web.

OOPs way over 30 minutes.

And now that gun is laying there on the bench waiting for you.

Imagine walking in to a cop or Judges garage and seeing miscellaneous pieces of pipe,couplings,nails,.. then calling 911 about a goy with all the materials necessary to manufacture firearms in his garage.

This is akin to them deeming a chip of metal a machine gun. Give me a break.

I called the cops about my son.

They looked all over my garage, focusing on 6-inch shelves next to the ceiling.

He was full grown. He wasn’t up there.

The lower courts are now going to feel fully empowered to ignore Bruen. Serial numbers required to purchase a gun in 1792? Not even close. A six to three conservative majority on the Supreme Court should do better than this.

Maybe Congress can get rid of the ATF. You would think any 2A law created after 1917 would now be un-constitutional.
