A Democratic senator went on a crude online tirade over Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) demand for all federal workers to answer a simple question about their productivity.
Tina Smith (D-Minn.) called the world’s richest man a “d–k boss” for orchestrating the email that went out to federal workers on Saturday with the subject line, “What did you do last week?”
Smith’s tirade comes as several government departments — including Kash Patel’s FBI — are instructing their employees not to respond to the message.
In a similar fashion to the types of sporadic requests Musk blasted out to his employees at Tesla and SpaceX, the Office of Personnel Management dished out the demand to federal workers — five bullet points with their accomplishments by 11:59 a.m. on Monday. It instructed them not to include any classified material.
Musk then publicly wrote on X that “failure to respond will be taken as a resignation” — something that was not noted in the email blast. He was adamant that “the bar is very low here.”
“This is the ultimate d–k boss move from Musk – except he isn’t even the boss, he’s just a d—,” Smith (D-Minn.) jabbed on X.

Fderl workers re about to get a lesson on who’s the boss.

She looks like the ultimate front hole.
DOD tells civilian workforce to ignore Elon Musk’s request to report productivity
She’s not running again, so I guess the Dems told her to hyperventilate on this
i think elon is fishing for ghost workers
“Well keep in mind, I am in the smaller office.”
Whatever happened to acting like a lady? An older married woman using foul language in public. Sad.
It seems so little to ask of people who get outsized wages, extremely generous benefits and a great retirement system. Plus lots of holidays, an excessive amount of leave, and endless training. Taking a few moments out of their week to list the things they do and the value thereof is a very small ask in view what they receive in return for their labor.
What these privileged people are is incredible ingrates.
Apparently the requested email is intended as a “proof of life”, proving you’re a real human. The suspicion is that some employees are not real.
If these were doctors in ER that might be different. Everyone wonders as to the usefulness of Government workers.
brilliant, you may be absolutely correct
How much fraud is in the federal payroll?
The answer to this Dem gasbag is: “Things that you could not possibly comprehend.”
MFer put in 90hrs last week… you can read the NYT to find out what hes done😂😂😂
Poor Tiny. What she was doing a week ago must be tough for her to remember back that far.
They could catch some in a lie on a questionnaire.
Technically under 18 U.S.C. § 1001—the statute that typically covers false statements to federal officials they could be charged.
It does depend on the nature of the lie of course. However, the lying could be a predicate due an investigation.
Once someone is investigated it’s likely that they’ll find something (email, texts, recordings) and that could lead to a firing or forced resignation.
I’m sure Trump et al have this gamed out to deal with the difficult and dangerous cases.
