U.S. Health Secretary Kennedy says Trump is a "pivotal historical figure"
X ^ | Feb 13 | RFK Jr

Posted on 02/13/2025 3:19:11 PM PST by RandFan

EYE-WATERING MOMENT: RFK Jr. delivers an emotional tribute to President Trump after being sworn in as HHS Secretary.

“For 20 years, I’ve gotten up every morning on my knees and prayed that God would put me in a position where I could end the childhood chronic disease epidemic in this country. On August 23rd of last year, God sent me President Trump.

“He’s now given me—he’s kept every promise that he’s made to me. He’s kept his word on every account and gone way beyond it. I’m so grateful to you, Mr. President. A lot of people told me that I couldn’t trust President Trump—that I better get it in writing.

“And we did a handshake, and everything that he told me he was going to do, he has done. And I’m so grateful to him. And I’ve told you before, I genuinely believe that you are a pivotal historical figure, and you are going to transform this country.”

That is true. The last 3 weeks is setting Trump in line for being the most consequential President since FDR.

In a lot of ways he is the antidote to FDRism. He is trying to take apart a Federal Government that for 90 years has been structured to grown uncontrollable year after year with little to no accountability to anyone.

It’s true. I got to see two truly consequential Republican presidents in office. Actually three. Nixon was pretty consequential for me, on a personal level.

It was. RFKJ, like Trump, is not a perfect man but he is absolutely a passionate and patriotic man, and there can be no doubt about his sincere appreciation to President Trump.

It was quite a scene - the last scion of the legendary Kennedy clan taking the oath while standing between President Trump and the portrait of President Reagan.

There are plenty of things I disagree with RFK Jr about. That said, he’s honest. He’s a genuine patriot and he actually does care about the American people and not just the elites or making money for himself.

If he can root out a lot of the unhealthy crap put in our food and the massive grift Big Pharma has been party to, he will go down in history as someone who did a lot of good for the country.

Remarkable and quite moving statement by RFK Jr.

Not clear about your Nixon thoughts. To me, I thought he was a decent, patriotic man. He started off the bat with the lefty pols and press having a boner against him as he helped take down their beloved pet, Alger Hiss.

Nixon got a bum rap. To this day, Woodward and Bernstein make sure no other current political ‘exposes’ exceed theirs.

Lying snakes both, and old enough to remember.

Amazing time to be alive. Never thought I’d be rooting for a Kennedy. Trump and RFK,Jr. ... Two very imperfect men ... Placed in exactly the right place and at the perfect time in history to rebalance our nation and pull it out of the fire.

Glad I lived long enough to see this, experience this.

So proud. So many GREAT people now in position to take our country back from those who have tried to destroy it.

May the mesmerized and sleeping masses finally wake up to normality. 🙏

Wasn’t cross-dressing Democrat Rachel Levine
at HHS under Resident Potato Joe 🥔 Biden?

I believe that too. God sent Trump on a mission. I honestly can’t think of anyone else who has the range and depth and the backbone to get where he is now - against all odds.

Not even so much the sex change, but a health secretary should not have more chins than Chinatown.

I certainly agree about the injustices Nixon endured.

His opening of China (”playing the China Card”) was consequential, but I don’t think it was as momentous as RWR’s bringing the USSR down, the boogieman of decades.

And even Nixon’s accomplishments eclipsed those of any Democrat President of my lifetime, except (I suppose) Kennedy, because of the Apollo program. Their main achievements were weakening America whilst lining their own pockets, and those of their fellow Democrats. All of them. LBJ, Carter, Clinton, Obama, and Biden. Small men who accomplished nothing positive.

No disrespect to RFH Jr. with regard to his vocal challenges. None WHATSOEVER.

With that said, one could hear his sincerity in his voice and see it in his body language.

“Not even so much the sex change”

Did Levine actually have a hackadickoffame? No, I don’t want proof either way, just a little curious about how dedicated he is to the charade.

Trump reached out to a Kennedy and the Kennedy was humbled and grateful.

Humility is not a quality often associated with a Kennedy.

I was taken by what Bobby said when he mentioned many had warned him not to trust Trump and get everything in writing.

And he said he got a handshake and that was enough and Trump had followed through on everything they talked about.

This is significant because Bobby has a following among young voters who would lean Democrat.

Trump has truly made the party a bigger tent with RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard.

And if Democrats had any brains they would be worried about that.
