By not being a transgender freak, RFJ Jr is already miles ahead of Biden’s HHS Secretary. If RFK Jr can bring back fries cooked in beef tallow and Coke made with cane sugar, he’ll be the best HHS Secretary to have ever existed.
Oh, I hope so! I’ve been trying to find beef tallow but the prices are just nuts.
Rush Limbaugh would get a kick out of this.
Seriously. Beef tallow for our fries, and cane sugar for our Cokes. Make fast food great again!
As Dementia Joe like to say, “No joke. You think I’m kidding, but I’m not.”
I hope that happens. Those fries in the ‘60s were the best!
And Rush would think he died and went to Heaven. Which he already did, actually.
I’m old enough to remember when McDonald’s switched over to vegatable oil for their fries. Hasn’t been the same since.
I want their fried apple pies to taste like they used to.
They had such great food as I recall, up until about 1982, when they started messing with everything.
Rendered duck fat is the way to go.
If McDonald’s adopts beef tallow the price of soap will go up.
Who?
Is this a professional news magazine or some half-witted blog?
Maybe higher in fat generally but better than the usual composite “vegetable oil” (a mixuture of vegetable and seed oils) which is loaded with “hydrogenated and trans fats (but not to be confused with pure canola or olive oil).
McDonald’s used to have the best fries until they switched to vegetable oil.........
I’d be happy if they brought back beef.
I am sure they would love to.
The government practically demanded that they move to veggie oils. They did not want to.
Knew some executives in the company. Back then
Covid killed the only Steak ‘n’ Shake in Maricopa County, AZ. Their Wisconsin Butter Burger easily outbuttered Culver’s. Culver’s and Freddy’s are good, but I miss Steak ‘n’ Shake. I don’t know how the beef tallow will work with their super-skinny fries.
I might go there once in a while if they do! They used to have the best fries!
“Vegetable oil” they like that name. You think of green beans, broccoli, cabbage, squash etc.
It’s actually very processed corn oil, rapeseed oil (Canola), soy oil, etc.
Oh I hope so! Friend some fries recently in beef tallow and they are fantastic.
Probably not. The 2 different types of grease were an inventory problem. And the fry grease only had a bit of tallow. Not worth the effort.
