I am and it hurts.

I am fifty years old, have no friends nearby, my closest family abandoned me years ago because I have bipolar disorder.

It's times like this when ideations come.

I used to be a mental health professional. Helping people not commit the worst mistake they could make was part of my job.

Here I am, wanting to be dead myself. No, I don't plan to do something to harm myself.

But the pain and loneliness and despair, are hard to endure during the holidays.

Find a good holiday film to lose yourself in, but if you’re in the Fort Myers area I’ve got a Christmas eve party invite for you!

Have you tried joining some kind of group - a church, a community organization, etc.?

May you feel God’s love wrap around you, covering you in the peace that comes from Above.
May you find strength, comfort and the gentle and quiet joy to be loved by our Creator.
Please receive God’s love and hold it close to your heart.

i am alone. I am in the field.
I made a number of mistakes in my life and I have lovely friends and a perpetually pissed off son.

Alone is better.

We’re here with you - many alone, too. Just think of us as being in the next room! Oh, and remember... the depression side of the plolar is just a nasty illusion!!

Tell me something... When you were a kid, how old were you when you found out the truth about Santa and flying Reindeer? (I am always curious about that...)

I remember how down I was the past four years with the theft of the 2020 election (I worked it as a lawyer and saw it first hand) and the incessant tearing down of this country and its traditions, benefitting every crook who wanted to come here and be flown around the US on our taxpayer dollars; the constant lies, abetted by so-called Reps like Liz Cheney and Kinzinger; the seeming descent into Bolshevism and the corruption of the Bidens. See what happened when November 2024 struck - the sun came out again; if you don’t wait around you can’t see the sunrise. We are all your friends, even though you never met us in person.

Two further visions (chapters), as reported by Maria Valtorta, bearing on Mary Magdalene (post conversion), and why her example looms so large in the overall economy of salvation:

__________

One further vision (chapter), as reported by Maria Valtorta, bearing on Mary Magdalene (post conversion), in which Christ, remonstrating with Judas, differentiates Mary of Magdala, who with Matthew repented and was forgiven, from the woman caught in the act of adultery, who did not repent or display remorse but instead was only frightened, and who, accordingly, was not forgiven.

See the following chapters of Maria Valtorta’s “Poem of the Man God”:

495. Christ speaks to Judas about the Woman caught in Adultery.

After my wife passed away last year at age 70 from cancer, I spend Christmas alone. What friends are still alive are all in WA state while I am in FL. But had a wonderful cruise with both daughters early this month. Both are very busy with careers & family in WA state. So I really appreciated both taking a week off to spend time with dad.

Hi Ciaphus, you are not alone. We are there with you in spirit and you have my sincere prayers.

I know this is hard. I won’t sugarcoat it. It is very, very hard. Grief, and abandonment by your blood kin, are terrible things to bear.

I wish I could show up at your door with a big basket full of Christmas cheer, but alas. Prayer is real, though, and you have mine and I’m sure those of many other Freepers. I hope you can sense them on this holy night.

May the LORD bless thee, and keep thee;
May the LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee;
May the LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace this night and forevermore.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee, world without end,
Amen.

(((Big virtual hugs)))

Keep your chin up brother. God, Jesus and your fellow Freepers love you. I made some minor mistakes too, like not killing my first born at the very beginning. lolol. Just a joke, but the world did turn him into a hateful cuss. Not my fault, some just go that way. Jesus is THE answer to ALL of the world’s ills.
