Have you tried joining some kind of group - a church, a community organization, etc.?
I've been in this area for a few years and still haven't found a good church. Several months ago I was interested in helping start up a chapter of Trail Life. But of all the adults that were involved I would have been the only divorced man (and also without children). Didn't feel like I would be the kind of role model the boys needed.
