With my spinal stenosis, squats are out of the question
I've seen what old age looks like after a lifetime of zero exercise of any kind and it ain't pretty. You can expect loss of balance, falls, hospitalization, and rapid decline.
Come on, people. Stay strong and do SOMETHING. Even walking, treadmills, stationary bike. Fire up YouTube and do yoga, pilates, anything.

Today, on my 91st birthday, I can do 5 pushups and one squat...
(Although for the squat, my wife has to call my daughter or one of my sons to help me back to my feet.)...
