Best subscription:

Is that like a Ham of the Month club? I guess it would be a step above Jelly of the Month club.

If anyone watches the new Frasier (which is not nearly as good as the original) they had an episode on Spanish Ham.

Costco is selling some version of it. I guess you never refrigerate it even after you open it up.

I had a friend raise a Mangalista for me. I cured and smoked the hams. We’re talking one with us to Thanksgiving.

When my youngest daughter was a 5, and loved DR. Seuss, I separated two eggs added green food coloring to the whites and made her Green eggs and Ham.

“Best overall: Snake River Farms Kurobuta Half Ham”

_____________

I agree, but I order the ham for Easter.

I order their silver grade beef tenderloin for Christmas.

That place has astronomical prices, for most of their products, but they absolutely deliver the quality. It’s only for special occasions that I do it:

I think that’s what all of those ‘best of 2024’ appliance, cosmetic, and other reviews on YouTube do; and even ‘higher end’ outfits probably get some kickback for their reviews.

Any good country ham, smoked and salt cured. Will raise your blood pressure but damn it’s good. Also slice it and fry up with some eggs.

One of these is setting on the big kitchen island right in front of me:

It's almost 20" tall. Weighs ~20#, cast bronze.

I don’t want a spiral cut ham. I’ll carve it myself, thanks. Spiral cuts ruin a good ham IMHO. What’s wrong with a thick cut of wonderful ham? I’m not a baby that needs Mommy to cut up my meat.
