Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom of California expressed concern during a recent interview about his son’s interest in right-leaning figures like Joe Rogan, Andrew Tate and Jordan Peterson.
Newsom spoke to Bloomberg for an interview published Sept. 7, in which he focused on the topics of AI and its implications for governance.
During the interview, the outlet asked Newsom whether he had talked to his children about potential issues surrounding AI.
“I had a very serious conversation with my oldest daughter about the chatbots on Snap,” Newsom responded, before pivoting to a discussion of his son’s interest in online content creators that many Democrats denounce as dangerous right-wing extremists.
“I really worry about these micro-cults that my kids are in,” the governor told Bloomberg. “I say micro-cults because I don’t know if there’s a better way to describe it. My son is asking me about Andrew Tate, Jordan Petersen [sic]. And then immediately he’s talking about Joe Rogan. And I’m like, here it is, the pathway.”
Andrew Tate is a masculinity influencer and former professional kickboxer facing charges in Romania for rape and human trafficking, Joe Rogan hosts the popular interview podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” and Jordan Peterson is a clinical psychologist and the author of “12 Rules For Life.”
All three have been widely accused of radicalizing young men by turning them away from progressive values.

The Lord’s strategy is evident now. We had a part of the organization that was run by an old timer who had a lot of political clout and totally opposed any change.
We could not get rid of the guy.
So—we did the exact opposite of what people would expect.
We slowly hired away his best talent into our part of the organization and learned the tiny details of how his operation worked.
With their assistance we then created a complete redesign of his organization—again down to the most minute detail—in a way where they could meet their goals much more efficiently while also helping us meet ours.
We got the draft plan signed off by lawyers, engineers and other technical specialists.
Then we waited.
The day after he retired we had a huge book on the desk of his replacement and a Powerpoint presentation ready to go to convince him this would make them a hero.
Our plan was up and running in their organization within a week—and their new boss loved us.
Lol.
It’s a great feeling to accomplish things like that. Nice to get the old tired thinking out of the way-—it really does hold things back.
Things are moving so fast in the world these days—the older generation sometimes does not get it-—a lot do, but some hold back—resisting the inevitable.
Must be nice to be done with all that and relax now!
Newsom, who is a member of the Death Cult, is very wrong.
30+ Million listeners for Joe Rogan is not a “micro-cult”.
The reason I tell these stories is that political and other changes can be made the same way.
It takes true creativity, detailed planning and then of course hard work.
Most of our major institutions have been conquered by the left.
The question is whether the institutions need to be gone or whether there is a way to get the leftists out and save them.
I am leaning towards “they need to just go away”—but that requires constructive alternatives.
Folks younger and smarter than I am will need to figure out that stuff.
But—I would never say “it is impossible” because I have learned that nothing is impossible.

I am totally good with completely eliminating the public school system.
It is incredibly inefficient and insanely expensive, has too many groomer, woke and leftist revolutionary teachers and administrators and with the Internet we now have a way for kids to learn in creative ways.
Eventually that will happen imho—but the road from here to there is gonna be kinda bumpy.
