Love him or hate him, the US feral government's proxy war on free speech via Alex Jones should terrify and/or enrage you.

If they can get Alex Jones, they can get you.

“Alex Jones confirms that the highest bid for InfoWars at the Federal Auction was not accepted and they chose the lower bid from The Onion instead, likely to make sure he wouldn’t retain control. “

What role did the federal government play in parents of Sandy Hook victims suing Jones in a Texas court - and winning?

Grounds for a lawsuit.
It actually happens quite often when a high bidder does not win a bid or auction.

The buyers wasted their money.
Yes, InfoWars is a well known name, but without Alex Jones it isn't going to remain so.

The “auction” was held in secret with secret bids so that we will never know if the highest bidder was chosen, as the law requires. There was no competitive bidding, either. Your first bid was also your last.

Plus, the Feds declared that the thirteenth amendment does not apply to Alex Jones and he will not be allowed to discharge his billion dollar judgment via the bankruptcy auction and he still owes the billion dollars.

And, on top of that, they want to claim ownership of Alex Jones’ name and all of his shows for his entire career even though everything he ever did he open sourced and allowed anyone to redistribute it.

These are truly evil people, and they will eventually turn their lawfare weapon on us all.

The process is the punishment. Even if you “win,” you will have to spend hundreds of thousands of nonrefundable court costs and lawyer fees.

Agree. All along the Left was trying to make an example of someone outspoken so the rest would cower in fear and act like Pence or Liz Cheney.

Same with trying to bankrupt Trump and make his court appeal out of reach since he’d be broke.

All these years of people doing the justice system lottery has led to this.

First I remember were unqualified applicants for firefighters in the City of Detroit who won $300,000 each in a settlement for being black and passed over, despite failing the physical and written tests.

Later hundreds of millions of dollars have been awarded to various weeping victims in court settlements.

And the case of the home invasion burglar who sued the homeowner for injuries from falling onto the kitchen counter as he entered through the skylight.
Defense lawyer wrote in favor of this case (fictionally mentioned in the movie Liar,Liar for cutting himself on the woman’s knife on the counter):

“...An 18-year-old man climbed onto a roof at a Redding, Calif., high school in 1982. He fell 27 feet through the skylight and was permanently disabled. His lawyers obtained a $260,000 up-front settlement with the school district’s insurer, plus $1,500 a month, for the rest of the man’s life. The settlement was ridiculed. But consider that the skylight had been painted over. It wasn’t visible.”

The buyers wasted their money. Yes, InfoWars is a well known name, but without Alex Jones it isn't going to remain so.

There were white hats who were going to try to buy it, which is why they made the auction a secret auction with no competitive bidding in public and no disclosure of the bids or their amounts.

Much to the chagrin of Soros and the Deep State, Alex is already back online.

The Onion bought it.

Since The Onion is a satire site I took that as a joke. Maybe I am wrong.

Is ‘The Onion’ a CIA surveillance storefront like Google, Farcebook, the OLD ‘Twitter’, Drudge, and so many other media outlets?

The bankruptcy court pulled a fast one on the "auction."

Secret bids. No competitive bidding. You make one bid and that's it. You are not allowed to bid higher if somebody else bid more on the first round.

Plus they decided they don't have to take the highest bid, and since the entire thing will be held in secret no one will ever know if the highest bid won.

I'll take a stab at this. I didn't keep up much with this case, but I am told that members of the corrupt deep state solicited these lawyers to go seek out these Sandy Hook families and induced them to file the lawsuit.

If you know anything about the structure of the Democrat/Industrial complex, all these people are part of an unofficial cartel that works to advance the interests of everyone who is part of the cartel. Kinda like "Journolist".

The Federal government had no "official" capacity in it, but the three letter agencies, their contacts, and their "good old boy" network, certainly induced proxies to act on their behalf.

You know, like they used to use Twitter (and still use Facebook and Youtube) to censor political speech they didn't like while hiding behind "it's a private company".

They use proxies to do things they themselves cannot do officially, and that's what they did in the Alex Jones case.

Alvin Bragg, Letitia James, and Fani Willis are also proxies put to their tasks by this same unofficial network of corrupt bureaucrats in the US Federal Government.

This seems a tad excessive. Makes me think Jones was right about a lot of what he was talking about if they decided to ruin his life over calling Sandy hook a false flag

I don’t know how they could have ‘induced’ people to sue if they didn’t want to.

If I lost my child in a shooting and someone promoted the idea that it didn’t even happen, I’d sue, too.

I would think the judge has an obligation to accept the highest offer unless there were financing issues.
