I don't know where you all were hiding during the Trump Administration. For four years, conservatives had front row seats on C-Span as Kamala Harris in hearing after Senate committee hearing excoriated every single one of President Trump's nominees for federal office.
Harris was brutal, rude, and discourteous, to say the least, treating every Trump nominee as though they were criminals. But she was never once reprimanded by any of her peers for her atrocious "prosecutorial" behavior.
Fast forward to all of the ridiculous prognostications by alternate media and conservative bloggers showing up on this site in 2024 as to just how Harris intends to engage President Trump in tomorrow night's debate, and one would have to conclude none of them ever watched any of Harris's despicably sordid performances in the United States Senate.
What is going to happen tomorrow is simple. Because there is only one role Harris knows how to play, and that is the one of hard-charging state prosecutor pushing for a criminal conviction.
And that is exactly what VP Harris is going to do to Trump. She is going to say that she is humiliated and embarrassed beyond belief, on behalf of all the American people, because "all of us" have been "forced" to choose between her and a "convicted felon" to be elected to the Presidency of the United States of America.
She will say she finds it beyond contempt that the only other dominant political party in the United States in 2024 had the gall and temerity to put forth as candidate a convicted felon to occupy the highest office in the land.
And that she is embarrassed for the American people that she is being put into a position of having to match wits with a convicted felon who in a few short weeks likely will be sentenced to jail for all 34 felonies he has been convicted of having committed. She may actually tear up at this point.
But, she will say, do we really want to have a President whose Oval Office is a jail cell on Riker's Island? If you support the Democrat party on November 5th, together we will make sure this kind of horrific travesty of judgment and danger to our democracy never occurs again.
There's no way Trump can recover from that kind of attack. She is a woman. Any thing he says will be seen by voters as a white male taking unfair advantage of a woman of color.
I wish I could say this is not really happening. But that's just the way they have set it up.

Comparing congressional hearings to a “debate” is comical on its face..
Congressional Hearings the elected officials hold all the control the, they can spend 10 minutes setting up a gotcha question with selective narratives, etc. Boxing the witness in with selective narrative before a single question is actually asked.
Trying to claim that that is the equivalency of a debate is comical.
Congressional Hearings are intentionally set up for the cameras, its is insanely rare when a “witness” at a congressional hearing wins... it does happen occassionally, but by and large its a predetermined clown show.
Tulsi destroyed Kamala in her 2016 debate with just a sentence or two...
Kamala is NOT a strong debater in any way...
Trying to claim being a rabid attack dog in a congressional hearing makes you a good debater, is nonsensical.
Kamala has never faced a hard debate, a few debates for California offices... as a democrat... A VP debate in 2020 and of course her awful debates in the 2016 Democrat primaries.
I don’t expect her to completely fall apart, though possible, but she’s not going to shine in any way... however the press will do whatever they can to prop her up.. so if she just doesn’t completely collapse, they will spin it as she won... or that’s all she needed to do.
She certainly won’t win the debate, there is no path where she is going to best Trump.... all Trump has to do is just hound her record, just like Tulsi did... She can say whatever she likes, but he will always simply counter her with her performance, which has been crap.
Trying to claim she can fix inflation when SHE WAS THE DECIDING VOTE THAT CREATED BIDENFLATION... Claime she can fix the border, WHEN SHE WAS THE BORDER CZAR... Claim she can fix foreign policy when you have OCT 7 and the UKRAINE WAR etc all under her watch,a nd Trump can just say I kept the world safe..

Kamala can try her 2025 nonsense, and Trump has already disavowed... etc..
We’ll see how it goes, but like I said, I don’t expect a full collapse, but it certainly can happen... but as long as she doesn’t totally collapse the spin will be she won.
Basically as far as the press is concerned, as long as she doesn’t literally drop dead during the debate and is still breathing after they’ll claim she won.
She’ll surely throw out some red meat zingers for her base... I’m sure she’s got a few dozen in her pocket waiting to be used.. but the problem is while they will play well to the rabid left base, they just won’t play to middle america.
Trump really just has to be himself, tell the truth about her records, and frankly give her enough rope so she can hang herself... She’s terrible at off the cuff, and everyone knows it, so that’s all that has to happen, force into a situation where she has to actually think on her feet, and she’ll fall apart. Harris won’t be forced into a think on her feet situation by the moderators, so Trump will have to be the one to create that situation... and if Trump is excellent at anything its playing asymetrical warfare and being unrpedictable.
Policy is what matters to people when the majority are suffering from the policies she owns along with Joe and can't defend or promote.

A coin flip was held virtually on September 3 to determine podium placements and order of closing arguments; Trump won the coin toss and chose to select the order of statements. He will offer the last closing statement, and Harris selected the right podium on screen (stage left)
Candidates will be introduced by moderators
Candidates will enter upon introduction from opposite sides of the stage; the incumbent party will be introduced first
There will be no opening statements; closing statements will be two minutes per candidate
Candidates will stand behind the podiums for the duration of the debate
Props or prewritten notes are not allowed onstage
No topics or questions will be shared in advance
Candidates will be given a pen, a pad of paper, and a bottle of water
Candidates will have two minutes to answer questions, two minutes for rebuttals, and one extra minute for follow-ups, clarifications, or responses
Candidates’ microphones will be live only for the candidate whose turn it is to speak and muted when the time belongs to another candidate
Candidates will not be permitted to ask questions of each other
Campaign staff may not interact with candidates during commercial breaks
Moderators will seek to enforce timing agreements and ensure a civilized discussion
There will be NO audience in the room
