I don't know where you all were hiding during the Trump Administration. For four years, conservatives had front row seats on C-Span as Kamala Harris in hearing after Senate committee hearing excoriated every single one of President Trump's nominees for federal office.
Harris was brutal, rude, and discourteous, to say the least, treating every Trump nominee as though they were criminals. But she was never once reprimanded by any of her peers for her atrocious "prosecutorial" behavior.
Fast forward to all of the ridiculous prognostications by alternate media and conservative bloggers showing up on this site in 2024 as to just how Harris intends to engage President Trump in tomorrow night's debate, and one would have to conclude none of them ever watched any of Harris's despicably sordid performances in the United States Senate.
What is going to happen tomorrow is simple. Because there is only one role Harris knows how to play, and that is the one of hard-charging state prosecutor pushing for a criminal conviction.
And that is exactly what VP Harris is going to do to Trump. She is going to say that she is humiliated and embarrassed beyond belief, on behalf of all the American people, because "all of us" have been "forced" to choose between her and a "convicted felon" to be elected to the Presidency of the United States of America.
She will say she finds it beyond contempt that the only other dominant political party in the United States in 2024 had the gall and temerity to put forth as candidate a convicted felon to occupy the highest office in the land.
And that she is embarrassed for the American people that she is being put into a position of having to match wits with a convicted felon who in a few short weeks likely will be sentenced to jail for all 34 felonies he has been convicted of having committed. She may actually tear up at this point.
But, she will say, do we really want to have a President whose Oval Office is a jail cell on Riker's Island? If you support the Democrat party on November 5th, together we will make sure this kind of horrific travesty of judgment and danger to our democracy never occurs again.
There's no way Trump can recover from that kind of attack. She is a woman. Any thing he says will be seen by voters as a white male taking unfair advantage of a woman of color.
I wish I could say this is not really happening. But that's just the way they have set it up.
They were keeping her "under wraps" for four years.

Trump’s voter popularity kept going on, during the whole lawfare shenanigans. Presumably, this will continue during the debate. I’m waiting to see what Harris’ response to ‘Are you going to undo Biden’s EOs, that opened the southern border?’
Trump should say, even if true,I can still govern better from the Big house than she could govern from the White House.

I think she can say whatever she wants Trump has to ignore the ad hominem attacks. He has to stick to policy and attack her record and her policy as she outlined it today. If he does not take the bait she will get frustrated. Force her to defend her policy and her plans. It is one thing to call her stupid at a rally do not do it during the debate. I agree with the person that said Trump should weather the attacks and respond with; how does any of what the VP just said help Americans suffering under Bidenomics? Then explain how he will help.
I do not believe this debate matters much. Harris voters hate Trump, they will vote for her no matter what. You may convince a few soccer moms but I believe undecided are at 2% of likely voters.

My take—My ouija board says this how it will go...
1. She will not laugh—not a chuckle or a smile.
2. She will be in Attack mode for the first 1/2 hour. Feisty.
3. The questions will play to her strengths as they appear even if they seem focused on “new”—Anti-Trump News.
4. She will play and over play the Felon, above the law card.
5. She will start to fumble midway in the debate—stumble over words and stick to old lies “Trump is a rapist, racist, rich man. A fake and a fraud.”
6. Last half hour Trump will take over, looking presidential and like an adult next to an errant teenager.
7. She has set lines memorized to dig into Trump—he has some set for her too.
8. The MSM will say she won—greatest debate since Lincoln-Douglas—but all will see she lost— Who do you want to run things? A man who gets things done of an idealistic woman of color with a terrible voice and worse laugh?
We don’t have long to wait to find out.

Oh no, no one ever saw that one coming! No one was saying that when they first pursued indictments against Trump, and no one thought of that strategy when Kamala made her latest pivot as a tough prosecutor.
Gee, I guess it’s all over. Trump will be ousted by a tactic that’s been under discussion for 18 months now. The walls are closing in! His ceiling is 35%! Trump won’t win the primary, and even if he did, there’s no way he can possibly beat Hillary!
I won’t even watch. I know who is competent and who is fake.

You DO realize that Trump has the chance to respond to her comments, don’t you? It really doesn’t matter anyway since most ppl have made up their minds by now. A Trump supporter isn’t going to suddenly change his/her mind and decide another 4 yrs of Democrat policies is a good idea. Get a grip, ffs!
It will work on those already in her camp.
It will only cause his supporters to double down on their support of him as they see through her lies.
The undecided are a crap shoot, as always. It MAY backfire for people who already have served jail time for whatever offenses felony or not. If she casts him in that light, they may identify with him more closely.
Her handlers, through her earpiece, however, I believe will be directing her comments and reining her in or running interference through the debate moderators to try to prevent her from nuking her candidacy.
He also isn’t convicted until he’s been sentenced. Trump should point out that a district attorney who doesn’t know that is incompetent.

Some people think Trump won't be able to keep his cool. But they forget that Trump has had a year of mandatory court appearances where he was required, and so became skilled, at remaining silent and unreactive to outrageous claims. This forced experience should serve him in good stead. Although it wouldn't hurt to wiggle in a few references to Harris's long-standing relationship with the Biden crime family and specifically with drug addict and convicted tax cheat, Hunter Biden. Or he could ask her to clarify her PAC's $1,000 donation to NGPVan in 2016, in exchange for what was likely Beau Biden's donor list worth $400k.

rebuild the Obama coalition, eh? I thought she didn’t want to ‘go back’ yet there she was telling us that her presidency would be a rehash of Zero’s presidency. No thank you.
