I am just back from a discount meat market. They are a very large store with prices typically far below regular supermarkets that don't specialize in meat and fish. For example, last year chicken wings sold at this market for just 99 cents per pound.
Okay, so I like this market in particular because leading into holidays such as the Labor Day Weekend they typically slash the meat prices with some great sales so today I arrived there hoping to pick up Picanha cut beef for my BBQ this weekend. Imagine my shock when instead of a price reduction, the price of Picanha about doubled. Typically the sale price is $4.99 to $5.99 per pound. However, instead of a price drop I was presented th a price BOOST to $9.99 per pound. Therefore I notified my guests that instead of Picanha steaks we will be eating Pollo Rojo marinated in Achiote. Perhaps the BEST BBQ chicken out there although everybody was looking forward to Pinchana STEAK. Hopefully there is also not a yuuuuge price surge on the achiote marinated chicken.
Of course, I took full responsibility for the change of BBQ plans by placing the full blame on my niece who supported Biden the last time in order to remain popular with her airhead friends.
The Kommie Kamala campaign once again is flooding social media especially Tik Tok with anti-Trump ads, displays, debates. Where’s Trumps ads?? Nowhere to be found. What-is-going on here? It’s driving me nuts. She is utterly kicking his butt in ads and promos.
I never heard of “Picanha” before!
We probably ate it in Brazilian restaurants, including when I went down to Brazil for a university project!
We can’t afford steak any longer. Biden has us eating Feijoada with pig ears and intestine instead.
Remember the BEST serving at the Brazilian restaurants? The meat covered with a delicious fat cap? That was Picanha.
Stick your hand into the Amazon River and you can pull out a whole bunch of picanhas.
About 7 years ago the meat market where I went today sold T-Bone steaks as low as $3.99/lb.
Tree chicken, it’s what’s for dinner.
We're eating ticks, they are plentiful given the lack of spraying, this way we can establish an acquired taste in case Kamala gets elected.
Is eating iguana meat a thing nowadays? Are they good?
Ha! Picanha, when I can find it, sells for $17.99 a pound where I am. At least that was what I saw it going for in late July, the time I last saw it offered.
Only if you're on a Mexican....Radiooooo.
A lot of folks down here from the Caribbean, especially Trinidad, eat iguana. I haven't had iguana yet so I don't know how they taste.
If I do hunt iguana I plan on using a slingshot. A lot of folks use air rifles but that could be dangerous since frequently the cops are called out on anybody carrying a rifle of any type in a populated area. I’ve seen several times when the Iguana Man on his channel had the cops pull up on him when he used air rifles.
Don’t forget the picanthas sauce.
I see what you did there.

Lol... :)

I don’t know if he was joking or not, but had guy tell me they used to just drive around with their trunk lid open during iguana season and they would just fall in the trunk. lol
If the domestic Stasi wasn’t controlling the social media environment entirely, you would be one of the biggest personalities out there. You are very colorful.
I rarely see your stuff and don’t laugh, even when it is serious.
