New Jersey zoo visitor charged after she’s caught on video jumping into tiger enclosure

New Jersey police arrested the zoo visitor who brazenly hopped a fence and got terrifyingly close to a Siberian tiger that tried to chomp on the woman’s hand last week.

Zyair Dennis, 24, is facing a defiant trespassing charge along with violating two city ordinances after she climbed the fence at the Cohanzick Zoo and stuck her hand inside the tiger’s enclosure, Bridgeton police said Monday in a statement.

Police last week had shared jaw-dropping footage of Dennis’ Aug. 18 antics.

If you look carefully, she seems to still be separated from the cat by fencing. It looks like she jumped a lower, outer fence.

Unreal. At first I thought it was someone who wanted to commit suicide but it looks like she wanted to pet the tiger.

This is similar to a video floating around on Twitter of a woman who stood in the way of a bull as it was running through the pasture.

She kept saying “hey baby, come here baby” and the bull just kept running and she got squished.
