Ousted NY Rep. Jamaal Bowman now begging for cash to pay off campaign debts (fire alarm commie)

He finally ran out of other people’s money.

Disgraced Rep. Jamaal Bowman is begging for cash and painting himself as the victim in the wake of his bruising — and losing June primary fight against Westchester County Executive George Latimer.

The race was the most expensive in House history, and Bowman — who campaigned with surrogates who publicly celebrated Hamas terrorism –whined to donors about American Israel Public Affairs Committee, which spent $14.5 million to help unseat him.

“AIPAC spent more money against us than any other House primary – ever. I was public enemy number one and they spent almost twenty millions dollars to stop us,” the soon-to-be former member of the lefty House ‘squad’ said in a Aug. 14 campaign committee email.

“But that puts us in a bit of a predicament right now. After tallying up the spends, we’re ‘in the red.’ It would be an incredible help to our team if you could help us retire our campaign debt by chipping in a few dollars now,” the note continued.

It’s unclear how deep Team Bowman is in the hole until his next official filing, but his campaign burned through boatloads of cash in its final days — including more than $1.3 million in TV ads buys and digital advertising in June, FEC records show.

Bowman spent more than $5.3 million on the race while Latimer’s campaign dropped more than $5.6 million.

As of July, Bowman’s campaign reported more than $373,000 cash in the bank with debts of just over $141,000, according to his most recent Federal Election Commission filing.

Sounds like the commie has enough loot. Time to pay the bill. Maybe have the Hamas wing 'chip in'.

Maybe he can talk them into debt forgiveness.

“Disgraced Rep. Jamaal Bowman is begging for cash...”

I wouldn’t give him the steam off a January San Francisco stew bum’s pavement stool.

STILL taking other people’s money and he isn’t even in office any longer.

I’m obviously missing something with these campaign debts.

So they were allowed to advertise in various media without actually having to pay up front?

Are campaigns set up as business entities which have corporate credit cards which are used?

Are there lines of credit issued?

Are politicians ever personally liable for debts they incur while running for office? Or is the debt technically incurred by a separate business entity which runs their campaigns?

If Trump gets in then it won’t be too late to charge this guy in relation to the fire alarm incident.

Sorry Jamaal: you hacks are a dime a dozen. No reason to help you out when the money is better spent promoting the next designated up and comer. On the topic of being kicked to the curb, see Biden, Joseph Robinette (Jr.)

Could we just get lucky and find out he owes the “mob” most of the money and they aren’t happy about being stiffed?

He lost. There's no possibility he can affect or even influence any kind of gov't action in your favor. He can't champion your cause, yet he still wants your support. If you give, it's the very definition of "good money after bad". I don't see too many people doing that.

When Bede aircraft went under, the lawyer who handled the bankruptcy immediately went after the company's most valuable asset (a jet engine) for his fee. He made sure he got paid. Every one else got shafted.

I'm sure SOME people got paid already. The rest will never see a dime. It might be interesting to find out who...

If I had a business every political campaign would have to pay cash. No net 30 terms, no credit arrangements. I wouldn't even start a job until full payment was made, so I don't do something like print a bunch of campaign signs and get stuck with them if they don't have cash at pickup time.

They are businesses with a known maximum lifespan and their revenue can fall to zero long before then.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are FEC rules preventing me from giving different terms to different candidates based on whether I support them, so no one gets terms other than cash up front.

He lost his primary but he will still be in office until January 2025.

He’s begging for money so he can keep the grifters on his campaign staff, and the grifters who did business with his campaign, employed in no-work jobs for another 4-5 months.

If I had a business every political campaign would have to pay cash.

Back in the 50's my dad had a small construction business and put in a set of concrete steps for a local politician that stalled payment.

My dad called him and said that he was sending his crew out to his house to collect the money or we would take 20 pound sledge hammers to the steps and leave.

He paid but we never did another job for that lowlife.

The prick was a demonRAT {surprise, surprise, surprise}.

Maybe he’ll come to learn what “useless” and “useful idiot” mean. The left has nothing to gain from him, so he’s on his own.

I hear Cori Bush is a little lonely . . .
