Planet Fitness has refused to walk back its decision to ban a member who exposed a 'trans woman' shaving in the female locker room.
The statement, which was shared by the Libs of TikTok Twitter account, said although some members may feel uncomfortable sharing facilities, 'This discomfort is not a reason to deny access to the transgender member.'
The comments come after Patricia Silva detailed at incident at her Alaska gym where she saw a transgender woman shaving in her locker room.
Silva had just finished working out at Planet Fitness' Fairbanks location, when she saw the person, whom she called 'a man with a penis,' carrying out his routine in front of a 12-year-old girl.
Silva, who has previously run for Fairbanks Borough Assembly, told the 'trans woman' they should really be using the male locker room.
The trans woman retorted they were 'LGB.'
Silva took a picture of the person and shared it online. And she was so shocked by what she had seen that she recounted her experience in a Facebook video.
'I just came out of Planet Fitness. There is a man shaving in the women's bathroom. I love him in Christ,' Silva began. 'He is a spiritual being having a human experience. He doesn't like his gender so he wants to be a woman, but I'm not comfortable with him shaving in my bathroom. I just thought I'd say it out loud.'
Silva - who has shared QAnon conspiracy theories on social media - also described the encounter in a written post online.

I don’t attend Planet Fitness. Never have. Never will. However, if I did, I would change clubs, because there are thousands of reasonable clubs to join, so let the trans have it. I don’t know why women would continue with it either.
How does Planet Fitness retain a single sane customer?
Eventually you'll reach a point where the weights get to such a level that you'd need a large amount of space with a concrete floor and thousands of dollars for squat stands and all the rest of the equipment.
Cam machines in particular are beyond most folks wallets and living space.
It's much easier and cheaper to rent it monthly.
Rape is more about ‘power’ & control than sex (per many experts). I can see that in certain cases & I think it’s similar with men pretending to be women. It’s not about sex/lust ... it’s about the power to go into a place that should give women privacy & safety (a women’s bathroom, locker room, etc.) & impose their male anatomy presence, causing discomfort, shock, even fear AND knowing they will be supported by companies like Planet Fitness. Women are ‘helpless’ when companies support tranny bad behavior UNLESS they refuse to put up with it - in this case, walk out & quit the gym. Women should not be put in this position (your rights end where my nose begins), but until enough rise up & real men support them, the trannies will have their way. My guess is that if trannies were provided a separate locker room/bathroom, they’d refuse to use it.
Planet Fitness is inexpensive: $10 per month. You can spend as much at a fast food restaurant for lunch.
And so the pervs & incels who can only be around women by pretending to be women will have free reign. Lawsuits waiting to happen.
I would NEVER patronize a business that did not care about my experience or comfort level.
Is the savings worth it to women who have to watch a man shower? I guess some women might like that, but I doubt it.
Companies should stay away from this suicidal approach to be fair to a few and not so fair to many in order to remain profitable. Wasn’t Bud Light a lesson enough?

A spray bottle of water works, too. Shake the bottle before you spray, so she’ll associate the sound with the spray. It won’t take long before you’ll only have to shake the bottle.
Over the years I’ve gotten a treadmill, some free weights and a bench, and an APEX frame.
I get a better workout at home.
One might even think they are in business for some reason other than to make money.
What stood out to me was all the board members were previously board members for food and beverage companies, and not the healthy foods and beverages that fitness-oriented people would consume.
I can imagine most large-chain fitness centers have this same woke mindset, being largely run by millennials and X-ers. Don’t be surprised if LA Fitness says the same.
Their board of directors must be proud of the destruction of their company.
Maybe they change the name to Planet For The Not Mentally Fit.
Bowflex is having some problems. Thinking about getting some of their equipment at a discount.
I can vouch for that...we have a small female spotted tabby that wormed her way into our formerly all-Siamese household. Whenever I catch her making a beeline for my bok choy seedlings, I just pick up the spray bottle and shake it. ‘Gone in Six Seconds’...
