Well we might then end up with more reclusive people. Not necessarily a good thing!

I had scripture study with my friend in California this afternoon. Then I went out and planted lettuce. I didn’t plan on doing that but it just seems the thing to do. It was so pretty out in the cats refused to come in so I joined them.

the CIA too, on top of the fbi. Is it just me or are Justice’s Wheels grinding ridiculously slow? We are finding out this stuff but there are no consequences.

“I’m curious how a psychiatrist can violate the confidentiality thing.”

He didn’t give out anything that was confidential. He said he would never break the oath of confidential. He only mentioned things that were already public.

” Reading news and being keyboard warriors is NOT FIGHTING the evil. It’s merely sharing info with the choir and we are all at this point singing a mournful tune.”

I completely agree with you.

The meat giant also indicated that four additional plants would close by mid-fiscal 2024, just days after announcing the closure of two major chicken plants.”

Thought you might get a kick out of these😂

These insults are from an era before the English language got boiled down to 4-letter words. Insults then, had some class!

1. “I am enclosing two tickets to the first night of my new play;
Bring a friend, if you have one.”
George Bernard Shaw to Winston Churchill.

“Cannot possibly attend first night, I will attend the second...If there is one.”
- Winston Churchill, in response.

2. A member of Parliament to Disraeli: “Sir, you will either die on the gallows, or of some unspeakable disease.”
· “That depends, Sir,” said Disraeli, “whether I embrace your policies or your mistress.”

3. “He had delusions of adequacy.” - Walter Kerr

4. “I have never killed a man, but I have read many obituaries with great pleasure.”
- Clarence Darrow

5. “He has never been known to use a word that might send a reader to the dictionary.”
- William Faulkner (about Ernest Hemingway).

6.”Thank you for sending me a copy of your book; I’ll waste no time reading it.”
- Moses Hadas

7. “I didn’t attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it.”
- Mark Twain

8. “He has no enemies, but is intensely disliked by his friends..”
- Oscar Wilde

9. “I feel so miserable without you; it’s almost like having you here.”
- Stephen Bishop

10.”He is a self-made man and worships his creator.”
- John Bright

11. “I’ve just learned about his illness. Let’s hope it’s nothing trivial.”
- Irvin S. Cobb

12. “He is not only dull himself; he is the cause of dullness in others.”
- Samuel Johnson

13. “He is simply a shiver looking for a spine to run up.”
- Paul Keating

14. “In order to avoid being called a flirt, she always yielded easily.”
- Charles, Count Talleyrand

15. “He loves nature in spite of what it did to him.”
- Forrest Tucker

16. “Why do you sit there looking like an envelope without any address on it?”
- Mark Twain

17. “His mother should have thrown him away and kept the stork.”
- Mae West

18. “Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go.”
- Oscar Wilde

19. “He uses statistics as a drunken man uses lamp-posts... For support rather than illumination.”
- Andrew Lang (1844-1912)

20. “He has Van Gogh’s ear for music.”
- Billy Wilder

21. “I’ve had a perfectly wonderful evening. But this wasn’t it.”
- Groucho Marx.

22.”He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.”
- Winston Churchill

“But Cooper would stick with me even if I’m n the boring house.”

I used to feel so bad for my sweet little Yorki, “Misty”, because EVERY TIME I got up to go anywhere she was right with me. Taking care of my husbands needs I was up and down all the time and she would get up and follow.

I was listening to Glenn Beck the other morning and he had Carol Roth, author of the book “You will own nothing” on and she was talking about this NEW law that most LLC businesses know nothing about.

You may want to find out if your friends know about it.

“Knowing the intricacies of this act and its potential impact is essential for small businesses. Otherwise, they may incur criminal or civil penalties for not filing or updating this report.”

https://www.uschamber.com/co/start/strategy/small-business-corporate-transparency-act

From what I understood this is NOT just a one time thing or even a yearly thing. It is EVERY TIME you make any kind of a change.

More government take over.

I saw that on FB before I saw your post, hence the tagline change. BUT, I also copied and saved it to a file in my Notes app. I love it, especially the one about wasting time. I have a few writer friends.

It’s merely sharing info with the choir and we are all at this point singing a mournful tune.

Yes, but with all of us together it becomes more of a ballad. If we didn’t have each other and were singing solo (in my case it would be solo you couldn’t hear me), the song would be a mournful dirge.

“How has your visit been today?”

I decided to take her for a drive around town as I haven’t seen it in so long. Almost got hit from behind, my fault, as I didn’t know where I was going and cut a person off as I needed to get in the right hand lane. I had a cup of coffee before leaving her house forgetting her coffee is not de-caffeinated so I was in misery until we got to a restaurant and could use the bathroom. All in all it was a nice day out with her. I don’t know how many more I will get before she leaves.
