Yes, Paul. I know him and have read many of his authorized writings. Good stuff. But, you are right, he does use run-on sentences. His writing, according to someone who knew him, said he was sometimes hard to understand.

Thanks Ms.B.! That must be it - I remember her saying it was an industrial town.

I remember her getting a very high quality magazine called This England. It was the gardens, the lush greenery, the little cottages with the thatched roofs.....so beautiful.
