owerball winner Edwin Castro was spotted in the fast lane – taking a mystery woman out for a spin in his newly purchased Porsche in LA, photos show.

Castro, who won the historic $2 billion prize, and a blonde woman were spotted Saturday at celebrity favorite Sushi Park, a swanky eatery where meals average $400 a head, The US Sun reported.

His date’s identity is not known.

He’ll be broke in five years. Or dead.

I can’t emphasize enough whst a huge mistake it is putting yourself out in public with people knowing what you have......more than once a lottery winner has been murdered for obvious reasons.

Anonymity should be the order of the day.

I don’t know, but I would imagine being that he was stupid enough to allow his identity to be revealed after he won he has pretty much made himself a target in every area of his life.

Most state lotteries do not allow you to collect anonymously.

She has one more working brain cell than her competitors. She knew how to get to the guy first.

You know, if I won the lottery like that, I’d invest in land in BUFU nowhere, physical gold and silver, build myself a modest house on that land, and finish up school. I’d invest much of what’s left (and donate a little to causes important to me) and work and rent out some of the land as farmland if it can be used as such to be able to spend money on, “want” things.

No lies, I’d probably buy a few cars, but not a Jay Leno number of cars.

Believe it or not, statistics show 70% of lottery winners end up broke and a third go on to declare bankruptcy, according to the National Endowment for Financial Education.

Most of these lottery winners don't really win that much. A couple of million but they proceed to spend as if they won 20 million. When you're buying everyone you know homes and cars, you could burn through a few million pretty quickly.

This guy cleared nearly a billion after taxes. What he really needs to worry about are kidnappers.

Probably, but it’s his money. What he does with it doesn’t affect me one way or the other.

Yep. In reality though a golddigger is just an extreme version of traits they all possess, the desire for security and safety and men giving them that.

Hope someone told him not to get married. Hes going to have a hard enought time not blowing through all his winnings even without losing half in the inevitable divorce. And thats a certainty because hes already with a goldddigger. Hes a massive target for golddiggers.

If I won that much money I wouldn’t give a dime of it to charities which would blow 35% of on “administrative costs”. I’d set up my own foundation and do it myself.

there are ways around that. i.e. do NOT sign the ticket...get an anonymous/blind trust set up...sign the ticket with the trusts name...

Ergo, you didn’t claim it, the trust did, and no one knows who controls the trust fund..

At least, that’s what I’ve been told (and I have never won anything except the draft lottery back in the late 60’s)..

At least he's spreading money around, putting it back into the economy and actually driving vintage a Porsche instead of collecting dust like Jay Leno's ridiculous collection (Jay admitted he only drives 4 of them regularly and his everyday ride is a Chevy Volt).

That said, it's a little freaky that dude looks like he's had the same lip work done as his Emma Stone wannabe, and derma fillers and facial planing and **shudder** ... Like if Vincent Vega had Liberace's plastic surgeon ...
