The older people have built a fundamentally transformed country. The media lies and says the economy is booming, but it's not. Companies post job openings that do not exist — you can apply, but they will never contact you.
It's not a meritocracy anymore. Even if you get hired, in many cases, hard work, dedication, and real commitment don't get you anywhere. People move up only if they check the right boxes. At the FAA, it helps if you are psychologically damaged or intellectually challenged. As Joe Biden would say: No joke.
Young people growing up in Obama's America, with a lot of bad parenting, and COVID and social media screwing up their interpersonal skills are at a huge disadvantage. This is a messed up world. And the 22-year olds didn't mess it up — we did.
