Toddler twin daughters, a husband and countless others are mourning the loss of a woman gone too soon.LayCee Barnett, 28, who had just learned she was expecting another child, felt what her husband Josh Barnett described as flu-like symptoms on Jan. 10. Days later, she got news that shook her world — and then immediately took her from it. "The Wednesday before the 15th, LayCee started getting sick, so we waited a couple of days with things not changing," Josh Barnett recalled. Seems normal.
Turbo Cancer......................hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Very sad.
Yes. Very sad indeed.
Heartbreaking. My husband’s coworker was just diagnosed with this type of leukemia the day after Christmas. He’s been in an isolation type hospital all month getting the chemo treatments.
Thank you for putting (UT) in the headline. The only Farmington I knew of is in Connecticut.
There’s one in New Mexico too that I have driven through.
What a horrible tragedy.
The Vaxx seems to have produced lots of extremely rapid progression cancers, most noticeably in younger peoplei.
Lost his wife and unborn child at the same time.
So young.
Prayers for this family.
Beats the slow lingering death that Cancer patients normally suffer.
Farmington, New Mexico, was the location of a famous UFO sighting back in 1950.
Very tragic.
A cliché yes, but we must all come to grips that with the fact that each breath is a gift. As I get older I have become aware that while everything around me desperately tries to delude me into thinking this all goes on forever. I am keenly aware that this is merely an illusion. My days are very finite.
One of my FR friends just passed last week after a year of fighting lung cancer. Her niece fought a valiant battle for over 2 years with surgery/chemo/radiation. Her niece just reached a point where the cancer was outrunning any progress with treatment. Yet another friend from my high school class has been fighting pancreatic cancer for a year. Chemo/radiation achieved enough success to permit a "Whipple procedure" to surgically remove the tumor. He is making a painful recovery from the surgery now. I've seen no updates from his wife for 2 weeks. That's not encouraging.
This interesting mountain is called Shiprock. As you can see there are no roads near it. The closest town to it is Farmington , New Mexico . From there I was only able to see the tip at the top. Bummer.
Farmington is a somewhat upscale suburb west of Hartford, CT. It is next to the totally upscale Avon, CT, where OJ is known to be searching for his wife’s killer.
All he needs to find is a mirror.
I know a lot of people want to look at it for the “turbo cancer” and “excessive deaths” angles, but...that isn’t what I see when I saw this.
There will always be time for that.
That’s a very early onset for AML...
See my reply #19.
A very early onset. By around three decades.
