A distant cousin died in 1918. She was weakened from on-going tuberculosis, caught the flu and died. She was only 16. Her death certificate was amended from tuberculosis to influenza.

I’ve been getting the flu vaccine for probably 20 years. Sometimes I get a sore arm at the injection site for a day or so. I’ve never had anything worse than the sore arm. This time absolutely nothing at all.

I got the flu shot last week.

In June 2021 England came out with the study that gone on for 17 years and studied those that got the flu shot and those that did not. Conclusion it made no difference, in fact Flu shots were pretty worthless and at most gave you 13% of protection.

Unfortunately my 88 year old mother got her 4th covid jab and flu shot the same day about 4 weeks ago because her Dr said she should. She’s always had heart issues but after the first jab she started having severe kidney issues. She refuses to believe the government would lie about the vaccine.

I know someone who is scheduled to get the COVID shot, the flu shot and the RSV shot all on the same day. The following week they are scheduled for the Pneumonia shot. I hope it works out for them, but it’s not something I would do. At all.
