Isn't this an old clip? I remember hearing about this months ago.
Anyway, while I find Springsteen rather unctuous as a person, the quality of his music and his contributions to the rock world is undeniable.
If he was spouting conservative beliefs on stage, people here would hail him as the second coming. (And you all know it, too.)
But because he's a stupid liberal (and a hypocrite), well, his music must suck. Right?

The only song I ever liked was "I'm on Fire"....
Back around 1999, I attended his concert at Pontiac Stadium and had the misfortune of being in a sponsor box in direct line of the ceiling speakers.......
Worst concert I have ever attended and walked out of there with temporary hearing loss.......

Like him or not, he gave his all at every concert .
Worked during college at our arena early 80ās.
You could tell the bands who came in and figured , āwe are in Iowa, do what we need to get our paycheckā.
Not Springsteen .
Gave an incredible performance and played longer than any other concert.
Watched him warm up before the doors were open .
I didnāt know much about him until that night.
Became a fan then .
However not much of a fan now due to his politics.
And Iām older !
