Like him or not, he gave his all at every concert .
Worked during college at our arena early 80’s.
You could tell the bands who came in and figured , “we are in Iowa, do what we need to get our paycheck”.
Not Springsteen .
Gave an incredible performance and played longer than any other concert.
Watched him warm up before the doors were open .
I didn’t know much about him until that night.
Became a fan then .
However not much of a fan now due to his politics.
And I’m older !

Saw 2 really great Moody Blues concerts then the 3rd one they really just “phoned it in”.
Earth, Wind & Fire at a small East Texas college could have just done enough, but they were amazing that night. Not really my kind of music but you could tell the band was talented and working hard.
I too was a big fan. Have an extensive collection, saw him in many different cities. Been on long politically motivated break, and comments by Van Zant may have been the mail of my fandom coffin.
