9 year old tries vegan “meat” it goes pretty much as expected!
Nine year old boys aren’t exactly known for their subtlety and tact.
This kid has ZERO filter. He isn’t the least bit shy about sharing his opinion.
He was given an opportunity to taste some of that plant-based pseudo-meat.
Kareem’s reaction was caught on video.
He did NOT pull any punches.
He was NOT told the 'meat was 'vegan'.

It amazes me that only 12 episodes of Fawlty Towers were ever made.
I’ve had veggie burgers that were actually very good. You just have to stop expecting them to be anything like beef.

Not to be churlish, but making tofu or fake vegetarian meat needs a lot of energy and equipment relative to other foods. Its a rich man's diet - that's why urban yuppies eat it!
My uncle was a japanese POW in WWII, eventually held in NE China. His diet was Chinese corn biscuits, potatoes/anything from the ground, scavenged crabapples or Hawthornes. The local Chinese would secretly give the Americans cloves of garlic to ward off the cold.
So I expect THAT's what we can expect in the MAGA prison camps!

At the very beginning of Covid on the first day when the panic buying at groceries occurred, I went into a very picked over Kroger. Fortunately I didn’t need much and got almost all I was after.
While there, I noticed a big coffin cooler CHOCK FULL of various fake meat products. All the real meat, bread, milk, eggs, etc. was gone from the store, but they still had plenty of fake meat.
People figured this stuff out years ago, is my take-away.

Well Kareem, at least it’s not pork.
Was curious and went looking for the fake meat the other day in my local supermarket - a couple of years ago it was ALL over the meat department and promoted in the meat case in the front of the store. No more.
Finally found some - it had been moved to the “deli” section with the tofu, where it belongs.
I will never buy it.
To be fair, Tyson raises chickens and chickens thrive on insect protein.
I bought some ‘impossible burgers’ last year and never tried it. The color and texture looked weird and kind of stomach-turning in the package, so I threw it out.
I was expecting it to be something like old-fashioned veggie burgers, but it’s not.
I haven't bought or eaten Tyson chicken since Don Tyson's lawyer helped Hillary turn $1,000 into $100,000 by investing in cattle futures.
