This is strange since Israelis can own guns. This process is not that difficult and yet makes it difficult for crooks to get them. If you own a gun in Israel you can carry it openly.
Maybe they became complacent but I would have thought once you served you would want a gun as a civilian.

Who makes those decisions? Look at a map of the middle east and see what countries surround Israel. Compare sizes. Brutal enemies. Why would Israel not allow its citizens to be armed? I don’t get it.

Yes, every American should have a gun, and carry. Laws preventing this should be rescinded, as a violate our constitutional rights. Well, Israel should do the same, they’ve got a problem that they probably don’t want to arm their citizens who are members of the Islamic cult.

I believe this to be true too. I bet if gun confiscation was implemented, most gun owners would meekly comply. The idea that police forces are the goods guys is ingrained too deep.

If the Israel population really wants to punish this type of government bad then go after every single politician who approved, promoted and sponsored this and fire them. Ban them from public office for life. A slap on the hand is not enough and we can all see why.
Israel was created as a Socialist State. The idea was the government has near unlimited power. Israel has slowly been turning toward market capitalism, as socialism does not work well.
