By the way nothing will get done without a Speaker of the House anyway

I use to be of the opinion that war in the Middle East was eternal so stay out. Then I learned how evil Islam is.

You are seeing that attitude from people who are heavily invested in the Ukraine war, and who understand that the US does not have the resources to fight two big wars.

My attitude is that we should never have been involved in Ukraine. The conflict in Israel has shown us TRUE evil.

Fortunately, Israel does not need massive funds. They just need us to tell them “Do what you need to do. We will not hold you back.”

… however it's surprising to see this sentiment among so many mainstream conservatives?!

Mainstream conservatives are smart enough to figure out that when your government hasn’t won a war in decades, there’s no point in trying to fight another one.

We have reached the point where sending U.S. military assets to fight a war halfway around the world is like hiring a plumber to do your dental work.

IMO, it’s to early to tell how much our involvement if any should be.

Israel is capable of defending itself, especially with the assistance of the we’ve consistently given them over the years and their own ingenuity,

A bunch of outside contingencies could happen that would require greater involvement of the USA.

How many Americans were taken Hostage by Hamas, do we leave them behind or let Israel handle the issue.

The price of oil could easily go to $150 or more per barrel, crashing most economies, then what considering how Biden is handling the SPR and fossil fuels in general.

Given our open border, how many terrorist groups have infiltrated our border ready to stage terrorist attacks all around the country, what then.

What if Hezbollah, Taliban and other Muslim Terrorist groups start gathering around Israel in a “final battle” situation, what then.

Right now, we need to be ready, support Israel where we can with supplies and intelligence, etc., if this situation begins to spread around the world, all bets are off.

I do not support endless wars like the Ukraine debacle. I do support Israel and anything we can do to support them.

I fully support Israel and condemn the hideous attack against unarmed civilians.

That said, I cannot support military operations by the U.S. for two reasons:

1) Between the Obama and Biden maladministration, our military has been thoroughly compromised both in personnel and equipment.

2) Obama (and that demonic Iranian advisor of his) have blood on their hands. Their material and financial support of terrorist regimes is unforgivable.

I cannot support devoting our blood and treasure knowing that those in power in Washington are not in Israel’s corner.

First rule of being tour own country. Be able to defend yourself. If you’re reliant on other countries, are you truly a country or part of your supporters country?

No more military interventions without clearly defined goals.
For Ukraine , Sending military hardware can be arranged but financial support that pays Wall Street Sovereign Hedge Funds and the IMF is out. In war time, these entities will have to freeze obligations like Student loans, never forgiven but suspend payments.

Be sure to take a ride to the top of one of the World Trade Center towers.

They are quite impressive — even for Rand Paul fans.

You’re kind of a moron.

You illustrate the problem with libertarians.

It’s like you’re as dumb and knee jerk as your love to hate “neocons.”

Simple minded.

As if supporting Israel only means sending troops or something.

Libertarians used to be for open borders the same simple minded way.

We never heard George Washington say during his Presidency that we should go to the middle east.

It is the United States’ “problem” - but not one in which the USA needs to send troops in.

This is similar to the case with Ukraine - it is the USA’s “problem”, but not one where American troops need to go in.

What about a war between Mali and Togo? Not the USA’s problem.

When is it “the USA’s problem”? When the situation can harm American interests.

I believe Israel can take care of herself. Now, if only we can make sure we keep the warmongering idjits from interfering, she should be fine.

What’s happened in Isreal should
concern all here in the US. I
say take whatever steps necessary
to rid this planet of those that
have no regard for human life.
They’re here. It’s just a matter
of time where someones’
loved one falls prey to this
evil.
For these bastards to open fire
on a congregation of celebratory
innocents is beyond comprehension.
Women, babies, young boys and
girls. Riddled full of holes and
left to fall where they lay.
To say this is not our problem
is complacency.

Not my war, not problem

I hear people saying this. We must NOT care or get involved. We must stand back and watch as Tehran, fed and resupplied by Joe Biden, attacks. It’s not our problem if they slaughter women and children with US taxpayer funding. I hear the “religious” have gathered in the streets with signs to support thieve activities right here in America as they cheered during 911. We must acknowledge barbarism and criminal acts, like the NAZI’s committed, from these people because they oppressed.

My indifference must swing both ways. I will not cry or be saddened at the end of Palestine. I will not care as Palestinians are pushed out or into the sea. No, there will be no sorrow for those people any more. They have chosen a path, they should expect to follow it to its conclusion without my involvement.

We let this happen to Israel. Everything this administration has done was designed to hurt America and it’s ally’s. We need to evict them from the peoples house NOW!

It is not our problem. Our problem is we have jews and palestinians in the US who want to fight as well and will kill anyone.

Who do you think shipped these people purposely into the US? It was the democrats who will use these people as pawns to control the US through fear and murder.

I am very worried about the administration’s reaction. Ordering a Carrier group to the area within hours, is to me inviting a Gulf of Tonkin incident. Then, like LBJ before him Biden will be able to escalate the situation. Not only the mideast but Ukraine into a major conflagration.

Those that do not read history are doomed to repeat it.
What happens when you have one or more generations that not only do not read history, many cannot read anything?
