Just a note . . .
A while back, a small plane crashed about 1-1/2 Hr from me.
Not really the Ex-Urbs, just some big open spaces around the suburbs.
Took them 2 weeks to find it.
Yeah Fancy Military plane should have a Black Box, or Transponder or something sure.
But if that thing went down, in a remote place, and hit a soft spot and it’s now nearly covered, yep, it could take some time.

These are funny but it's yet one more thing that makes me draw an instant comparison the the 1970s coming back in every way possible except for the freedom people had.
We've had incompetent leadership, horrible economy, inflation, energy crisis .... and today we add incompetent military:
- In the 70s Carter's military practiced some sort of rescue operation for the hostages in Iran and the helicopters crashed into each other.
- In current day, the military takes an F-35 for a routine flight, it crashes and they don't know where to find it.

In any case of bailout, from a fighter no less, the situation is usually so dire that the ship is already in its death arc or soon to enter it. Did this guy punch out and watch his sled fly away over the horizon?
He couldn’t t trim it for nose down? I mean WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE?
