This is an ongoing thread – meaning come back to chat, post information, or ask questions any time. Hopefully the thread won’t stagnate and I’ll do better at posting weekly (or bi-weekly) topics than I have in the past. (anyone willing to post a topic now and then we'll be highly praised and appreciated).
We are in for some bumpy rides, and prepping can only help. If for peace of mind, if nothing else. We have a wonderful gardening thread and a current-events survival/prepping thread, and hopefully this one can piggyback off of those, maybe having a longer discussion about certain topics or … whatever. It's your thread, do what you like with it! (civilly, of course)

If you read the article or watch the video, Yes they are. I do believe children are people. As it states 31 people are unacounted for.

Certainly some helpful news if the death toll is being dealt with honestly.....I am glad if they are making more sense of that horrific disaster.

I wouldn’t touch them lol. I told the kids when they decide to cook them, please don’t forget to NOT invite me over. And don’t try to pawn them off as something else any other time to fool me. Gross.

F-35 Jet Mystery Ends as Wreckage Is Found

The United States military said on Monday evening that searchers had found the wreckage of an F-35 jet in South Carolina, one day after the Marine Corps inexplicably lost track of it when the pilot ejected with a parachute.

So strange whatever is going on with that plane. I’ve never heard of this happening in the past, but I could have been not paying attention.
It might help to add an extra egg to your recipe when using whole wheat.
If you’re looking for a soft, pillowy texture in your bread, it helps to take 2 tablespoons of the flour, mix it with the liquid you’re using, and heat it until it forms a smooth paste. Then let that cool and continue with your recipe as usual. Somehow that changes the way the gluten forms and makes a huge difference.
